Hey guys,


finally got my passport back today along with CoPR. so I'm planning on doing Inland landing? is there anyone who in Ottawa? I heard you don't need an appointment to go to immigration office, they have dedicated hours twice a month, each odd Tuesday of each month?

Is this correct?

you can request multiple notes there is no harm in that its just that its preferred take a gap of a week or two cuz sometimes they dont do anything for a while on the application they just touch it when necessary

My ECAS status changed to Decision Made today. Not able to reach call center for the past 1 hr. Not sure the outcome of the decision.

I am from visa exempt country, what is the next step if the application is approved? Will I get any email confirmation or only COPR in mail.

congrats hopefully something positive. the next step would be COPR and since your from visa exempt country, you wont have to send your passport. just keep checking and wait either cic will call or mail you the COPR for landing

Thanks. Just got off the phone with call center who confirmed that the application has been approved and will send the COPR in mail.

Thanks. Normally how many days it will take to get COPR once approved for visa exempt country? I am in implied status, need to get OHIP coverage soon.

As you said the CIC call centre agent already told you they will mail COPR. Hoping you will received this in max 10 to 15 days if everything is going correct when they are mailing COPR. Dont worry too much you already got approved so do thanks to God and enjoy.

One thing guys want to share what I feel.

I called CIC the agent was very nice, when I spoke with him from his words I come to know that CIC is aware now about our CEC applications and they are now with their words which came up recently in article related to us which says they will process backlogs in 6 months. Same words I heard from the agent which is good thing. And he told me CEC is really talking time and who ever is waiting for PPR its just a matter of queue when the officer last time reviewed our files. So everyone is dealing now with regards of this queue as you see they were working on before June applicants and today one guy "canadaforu" he is applicant of 17th July he got DM today.
So hopefully In Sha ALLAH (with the will of God) everyone will hear soon.
