On 20th Oct, we are blessed with a baby boy, can anyone advice for the steps to to add his name in my application.

I have my son's Birth certificate and have already applied for his passport in Tatkal.

If you know what is the average time lag for Medical.

July Applicants-Process In progress(File transferring is on going as well as PER issuance)

You may or may not communicate with CIC.
September Applicants-Completeness checks yet to commence but should start any moment from now
You may or may not communicate with CIC provided application submission is up to 10 WEEKS.

Do not communicate now but wait until at least 10 weeks after your submission date

Fill Form Imm 5620 with new details of CC and send it to CIO with covering letter stating reason for this update. Do write ur UCI, Passport No, DOB, Contact Information, date ur application @CIO was received on ur covering letter. Do include proof of delivery of initial application with ur form & covering letter if you got one.
