my application was Single, Mississauga and got a fingerprint request in March 2014 and submitted it back in March 2014. Oath and interview were at Glen Erin office in Mississauga.

Hi

You can one more application to your list. I am yet to receive acknowledgement to my application even though it has more than 11 months. My application was received by CIC on July 17 2013 as per Canadian Postal Service. It was a single application.

Wow, that seems very unusual. Have you check on e-Cas whether there is any sort of a status update? Have you called CIC Call Center to request an update on whether your file has been officially received by them? They should have at least opened and sent you acknowledgement of some sort by now. I recommend doing both things if you haven't already.

I honestly don't know when it was tranferred to L.O. , but last time i called cic (i think middle april), the agent told me the file was still in Sydney for background check.

Hello,

Long time reader, first time poster.

Can you please add one more to the list?

Application received by CIC on July 10th, 2013.
Started processing on September 24th, 2013.

Never received a booklet in the mail, but according to the CIC call center the file is in process in Mississauga and everything is ok. As for time in Canada, have been here for well over 1095 days. Have been in Canada since 2004.

Was hoping to receive a test notification by now, especially after reading through all of the other stories from successful applicants!

I also think it is highly unusual.That is why I have made the post. After waiting for a long time and trying to get through to the Call Centre, I have myself gone to the CIC Centre in person and they told me to once again send the application since it is possible that it may be misplaced in the CIC. Accordingly, I once again put together the whole package and paid the increased fees and I sent the revised package on February 3 2014 and the package was received by CIC on February 7 2014. I have not received the acknowledgement for that too even though the people who have sent the package in February have started receiving the acknowledgement. Please tell me what to do.

I had my test last tuesday, got 20/20. The interview was ok as well, it was all about life in Canada since arrival, job, studies, ....etc. In total, the interview lasted less than 15 min, but i wonder why she didn't ask for any document, she just checked passport, CPR and PR card. I was of course prepared to provide all these documents. So i wonder if this could be a good or bad sign ?

The officer also checked my pr,cpr, and only my old passport, not even the new one which I got one year before my test.
so I am sure she didnt need other documents.
