Hello Guys,

I did my landing yesterday and everything went well without any issues. Here is my landing experience:

I went to Canadian CBSA border office(St. Stephen, NB) and told them that I came here for PR landing. The officer told me to go to US and get the refusal and come back. So I went to US and informed them the same and they took me inside the building and after 5mins, US officer gave me the refusal letter and asked me to make a U-turn and return to Canada. So came back to Canada and given the refusal letter to CBSA officer. He asked all the papers like Passport, COPR letter and previous Work permits. Then he said it will take 10 to 15mins for him to complete the process and he is very kind and told me to sit in the chair. Exactly after 10mins he called me and asked "Do you have any criminal offense" and I replied "No". Then he told me to sign the COPR letter and confirmed that now I am the Permanent Resident of Canada and given some instructions like changing SIN number, medical cards and also explained about residency obligations. Then told me like it will another 8 weeks to get the PR card. Once again he congratulated and said have a nice stay in Canada. So happy :D :D

Thanks for your reply.

They should reply to my RPRF/Biodata email because I have told them I'm going to get married in April. And since I didn't include all the information stated in the automatic acknowledgement email (DOB, Surname, etc.), I'm worried that they might simply discard my respond and refuse my application after 30 days.

Hi, yes I think you should get a response from CIC but sometime they can take 15 days to reply back. You case is just similar to my case as I am also getting married in April and I updated CIC in my biodata email at the end of February to which they replied me.

I received my medical request on 5th March and did my medical today on 20th March at Dr Kulhmann hospital in etobicoke.

I would like to share my experience so someone going to same place can opt accordingly.: I booked an appointment at 9 a.m. and reached on time. 3-4 fellow July applicants were already there for 9 a.m. appointment. Then the wait started, my turn came around 10:45 for doctor to see me, he did blood test, bp and asked me to do X-ray somewhere near by clinic which was around 5-6 kms from the doctor's clinic.

Xray didn't take much time, but it was around 12 noon when I got free, so around 3 hours. Clinic staff told to wait for 2-3 weeks after I asked the next steps, if we need some more tests we may call you or if everything is good your medical will be uploaded to CIC. I got e-medical information sheet with some IME number.

Hopefully everything will be good and I would get RPRF/BioData request asap.

Please someone update my information in July excel sheet and also my status in ecas is 'In Progress'.

Hi Guys,

It will be two weeks tomorrow since I have sent my passport for visa stamping. I guess all the people who sent their PP around when I sent have already got their stamped passports back. For me, even the tracker has not been activated yet.

Should I drop a mail to CPP-O or wait a bit more? What do you guys suggest?

- paari

PS: I live in Toronto, ON

Wait more! Some people from previous months are still waiting for ppr.
