Hi,

I am a new bee to this thread. Can someone tell me the average processing time for CIC to process medicals Once the medicals are sent by doctor.

Also I am seeing the threads about changes in E-cas to "Medicals received". When does this happen and where can i see this. As of know it shows IN Process.

Regards.
K.

Click on "In process" as it represents a hyperlink and if will display your case timeline

Hey all. Checked my ECAS and it changed to in process to medicals received to decision made. I'm from a visa exempt country so hoping to receive COPR in a week or so!

Best of luck to everyone else and thanks a million to this site it has been truly help full.

hey guys, I had my medical done March 3rd. sent my pcc for my back home country on March 17th. but my ecas still say In Process. should I worried? really stressed out :(

No, it seems that cic are a little delayed with updating medicals. I had mine done on the 7th and sent on the 17th, but ecas isn't updated.

They've sped through the applications these last couple of months but there will always be a bottleneck somewhere.

Hello Guys,

Just got my passport with visa stamp. I am so happy :)

My ecas status is Decision made

I have submitted my application on 30 July, 2013 - Excel sheet has wrong date.

Now have to plan for the landing. I will try for the flagpoling. I saw Montrealappln did that. Hope it works for me as well. I am targeting Rainbow bridge... Any suggestions ?

Also what documents should I carry apart from the passport and COPR ?

When you pay fee online you get a receipt, you need to send to CPP

Hello Guys,

I did my landing yesterday and everything went well without any issues. Here is my landing experience:

I went to Canadian CBSA border office(St. Stephen, NB) and told them that I came here for PR landing. The officer told me to go to US and get the refusal and come back. So I went to US and informed them the same and they took me inside the building and after 5mins, US officer gave me the refusal letter and asked me to make a U-turn and return to Canada. So came back to Canada and given the refusal letter to CBSA officer. He asked all the papers like Passport, COPR letter and previous Work permits. Then he said it will take 10 to 15mins for him to complete the process and he is very kind and told me to sit in the chair. Exactly after 10mins he called me and asked "Do you have any criminal offense" and I replied "No". Then he told me to sign the COPR letter and confirmed that now I am the Permanent Resident of Canada and given some instructions like changing SIN number, medical cards and also explained about residency obligations. Then told me like it will another 8 weeks to get the PR card. Once again he congratulated and said have a nice stay in Canada. So happy :D :D
