Thanks Razerblade. Am worried as my ECAS hasn't moved to " IN Process " as well.

On another note:

First chest x ray shows abnormality in left lung and 2 x ray( after doctor called for another x ray) shows completely normal.. Not sure what will happen.

ecas status doesn't reflect the most recent updates to your application. Some people received their CoPRs and their ecas status still showed "In Process".

That's good that the 2nd X-Ray came clean, it was probably faulty equipment. If I were to venture a guess, your application should return back on track once CIC looks at the new X-Ray.

I have confirmed with the Dr's office that my medical results have bee submitted to CIC. ECAS does not reflect the change yet. Now we wait I guess...

I have done this process 2 times for my work permit renewals (down at Niaraga), I was also successful simply telling the US officer I needed a letter of refusal because I was completing my entry into Canada under a new work permit. I got a while paper that was called an "Administrative Refusal" (you are right) and completed me reentry into Canada easily and without issues.
Thank you very much

I think most of us are in the same situation as you i.e. applied for CEC from within Canada. You don't actually need a US visa, you can use this process called "Flagpoling", where you head to a US/Canada border and tell them that you'll be doing your landing at the Canadian border, or simply tell them that you want to "flagpole" (seniors, please confirm if it's okay to use this term). They'll know exactly what you're talking about and hand you a white/orange sheet of paper called "Administrative Refusal", and allow you to turn around and return to the happy Canadian side. There you tell the officer about your landing (show your CoPR, Passport and what not, along with the admin refusal from the States), and you should be able to do your landing without a US visa.

Check out this awesome guide that talks more about Flagpoling (kudos to ThreeSquareImm for putting it together!):

ECAS won't change. Request GCMS notes, that's the only way to check if they've added the prints to your file.

Did you get MR??

Got MR on March 11/14. I am July 8/13 applicant. Ecas changed to "in process" after that. No RPRF request so far. What are chances of rejection now if there is no problem in medical.

Once you get the RPRF request, chances of rejection will be low. Criminality/Security will be in progress though.

How do we know when medicals are received? Where does it show on ecas?

Click on application status "In Process" You will see details of activities

I went to rainbow bridge today right after work. I landed.
The officer didn't ask me anything except for one question whether I'm planning to travel within the next 8 weeks.
I said yes and he said going to and back from us by vehicle is fine.
I wanted to bring some stuff from my country of my origin but I could not come up with a detailed description of things I want to bring. So I give up.
For those of you who are not in Canada when you land make sure you have a list of goods you want to bring to Canada. Provided this list you won't pay taxes when you bring goods to Canada such as a couch, tv, anything ...
