Did anyone request or planning to request for gcms notes after getting the AOR? Is their any benefit getting this info at the early stage?
Someone was telling its beneficial because you will come to know any comment or remarks added by CIO officer before passing your file to CPP-O.

And why exactly would that be beneficial?? :) I don't think there's notes from the CIO officer anyway.

Hi Guys,

I know this subject is out of line for this thread but hoping you can enlightened me.

I applied for extension of my closed work permit on 18 sept 2013 while waiting for my AOR. Got my AOR under CEC on Sep 26. So I emailed CIC that I want to withdraw the application for extension of work permit because I applied for BOWP. I got an email on Sept 30 stating:

A note has been added to your file to advise the responsible office of your request to withdraw your online application. Once your application is opened, it should be cancelled and your payment should be refunded within 16 weeks.

Please note that your decision is final and that a new application will require the applicable fees.
.

However I received on MYCIC that my extension for closed work permit is approved. Now my question is what will happen to my BOWP? I really need an open work permit.

Yes it is AOR and congrates for clearing the first step....Now wait untill Aprl-May for MR. CIC website mentioned it is taking 1 year to process CEC application. When your app was received at CIC? please update your details at:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0An7cgngpAcm7dHlrdHhJeWtLUHpSdEUtUVJ5Znoydmc#gid=0
if not already done.

Sorry for the late response was busy doing a ton of stuff given I'm leaving Canada to go travelling abroad for several months, whilst waiting for the PR card to come through (as I understand it, "12 months" from the date of AOR?).

I found the July spreadsheet link and added my entry on there, I don't know what 'Expected AOR' value is meant to be so I left it blank.

So just to re-iterate, the next thing I have to worry about is getting an email about a Medical Exam request, correct? As an Australian, can I be confident of doing this when I'm in a South American country as long as I seek out a physician that is listed on the CIC panel, and do so within 60 days of receipt of the Medical Exam request, irrespective of whether I get the exam done in South America, or the US or Canada or Australia or other country?

Hi All,
Hope everyone is good and have got their AOR.
Well, I recently submitted by PCCs and they received on 10/25. When will I receive a confirmation that the PCCs have been added to the file?

If you guys haven't noticed, some of the original dates on the spreadsheet have been modified. Pleas follow the link bellow and double check if everything is ok with your application.

Cheers

Hello Everyone,
The spreadsheet looks different.

Please stop playing with this spreadsheet. We need to have this information be intact at all times, in order to track all our progress at the CIC.

Thank you

Make it read-only, like I did with the September sheet.
That way you can ensure that no one effs things up... 8)

Hi:

I applied for PR on Aug 2013 and received my AOR in Oct 1st week.
I have not submitted my PCC yet. Do they ask for the PCC and then we should go ahead and submit it? Or should I just go ahead and do my PCC and submit is ASAP.
Thanks in Advance

Yes, get a PCC and submit it. Mail the hardcopy to:

Case Processing Pilot – Ottawa
