Applicants from early June are receiving AOR's now, so we should expect ours late August

It is so frustrating to wait. But, this is what needs to be done so we do it. Keeping fingers crossed!

My situation is:

Applied for cec:June but my application was sent back due to a missing form for my partner.

Resubmitted cec app: 16th July
Reapplied for work permit extension: 22nd July
Work permit expires: 24th July

I fear I will be refused the bowp because I will not receive the aor in time. Therefore I will have to stop working, and wait for my aor whilst I submit a restoration of work permit application. Does anyone know how long it takes to process the restoration application?

I realize that 90 days after the 24th July I will need to leave canada, but can I re-enter as a visitor at this time at the port of entry as my partners visa does not expire until January 2014. This is extremely complicated, but due to e celpip wait times and cec one-year of work experience change, everything was a rush to submitting the applications.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Hi All July 2013 Applicants!

I am joining July 2013 Club , sent my application on 25th July, received by them on 29th july.
I am expecting my AOR by Sep end(considering current trend which is almost 8 weeks and strike also), btw my Closed Work permit is expiring 4th Oct 2013, so it could be a tough situation for me.

I got my Family Class (Spousal) application in on July 18th.
I have a question about travel. I have seen answers to similar questions but not exactly my situation. I wonder if any of you can advise.
I am married to a Canadian citizen and we reside in Canada. We were married in 2011 in the US.
When we moved to Alberta in January I was given a 6 month Visitor Visa at the border in Coutts. As far as temporary residency, since my Visitor Visa expired July 19th, it is my understanding that I have "implied Residency" while my application is being processed.
My question is may I travel outside of Canada now? I have seen many answers saying "yes..no problem". But what about re-entry? Since I do not have a current Visitor Visa? Will I be allowed back into Canada? Since I live with my wife in Alberta and I do have an Alberta Drivers Permit proving residency, and I have a copy of my immigration application as well as the receipt of it's delivery and the receipt of payment. I need to take a trip to Singapore for educational purposes. We are confused about what to expect coming back to Canada.
Any help and/ or advice would be appreciated.

Under implied status, no one should travel outside Canada. Not even to USA. But you may check with CIC, there may be some options for these particular situations.

This is not the international students section. There is another section for that. This is Canadian Experience Class section
