I asked this in the June 2013 but I got no reply, how do you know when they have received your application? do they email you?

I sent mine a couple of weeks ago from Vancouver Island and I'm not sure how long the postal service takes. Should I have couriered it?

On that sheet....what's "Payment Taken" and "Total days from payment taken"?

I guess you will have to wait to get the AOR (by email or regular mail if you didn't specify your email address) to know that your application was received. based on the current trend it will take a bit less than 2 months to receive it.

Sending it with a tracking number would have given you the peace of mind of knowing it didn't get lost on the way

I've sent mine from Ontario July 3rd and they got it July 8th in Sydney.. I had tracking number so I see somebody signed for my letter at CIC
