Your AOR should tell you to which visa office your file has been transferred else check in ecas, It takes a few days for the ecas to get updated after receiving AOR.
Wait for the birth certificate to come. Once you get the birth certificate, send an email to ottpilot-immigration @ cic.gc.ca if the visa office is Ottawa with a covering letter explaining that you are blessed with a baby and you are sending birth certificate and ask them if they need Passport copies. Based on their response, you can send passport copies once you get baby's passport.

In my opinion, there is no point in informing them about your new born baby without any valid proof(birth certificate), there will not be any issues for not updating them about new born baby for couple of weeks until the birth certificate is received. But you may check with CIC call center and other senior members on this forum.

I agree. I would not worry about informing CIC until the birth certicated is issued. You just received AOR, your file just started it's hibernation. CIC won't look into it until say february or march 2014.

Hello Guys,

I am confused with my current situation. I am on closed wp with my employer and it is set to expire on 4th Oct. My CEC PR app was received by CIC on 29th July and I have not yet received my AOR. My LMO is in process from my employer from 3.5 months and still pending. if it doesn't come by 4th oct , I wont be able to stay in canada, as would not be in implied status and have to leave Canada.

I have applied BOWP yesterday without AOR , but I am confused if VO will see my in process LMO file he may reject this BOWP application.
I applied this BOWP so atleast it will give me implied status after 4th oct.
any thoughts?

Did you hear anything from LMO (as in postive / negative) if not, then technically speaking, you can still stay in canada but you cant be working. After you hear from lmo people, you have 90 days to change your status. so dont worry.
