Sweet sweet PPR is finally here the precious I got it but not without a last fight, On Tuesday 03 my status went to medicals received and on Wends 04 decision made and no PPR on Thursday 05 a lady from the MP office that I contacted couple of weeks ago to have her inquire about my application status called me and told me that my application was approved and a ready for visa email was sent to me on Tuesday June 03 however neither me or my lawyer received anything and we checked every folder on Our emails upside down from top to bottom and nothing so on Monday 09 I called the lady form the MP office and she suggested me to write and email to CPC-O to have them resent the PPR email once more so I did and today we received it so without that call from the MP office I would possibly be waiting for weeks and weeks without being aware that a PPR email was sent but we just never received it so if any of you is experiencing something similar contacting your local MP office is highly recommended

My July applicant fellow's still waiting I wish I could've been a VO to get you all approved tomorrow

Thanks to everybody in this forum I received countless help and support to make it through this crazy and tough process. Now is time to reunite with my wive and kid after years of waiting and many visas refusal for them but its all put in the past now its time to celebrate, as for me its not the end but just the beginning good luck to everybody

Same Scenario, after exactly 3 months I got PPR.... on the same day (June 5th) I called the MP to ask the about "whats going on guys? what happened to his app?" she called me back and she told me: my app is just approved today (June 5th) !!!! I couldn't believe this since I don't have any evidence (PPR Email) I checked the status and it was as before, however at ~ 11:30 pm !!! I received PPR email Hurraaaah I read it twice and then I smiled .... it was long wait and now it almost over.... send my passport last Friday (June 6th) and the return tracking # is not active yet..... Hang in there July apps you will receive something soon )) thanks for all members in this forum. you were very generous in giving advises and giving me the hope... ))

I called my MP today, he is so not helpful ... he asked wats the processing tie for CEC, i told him 13 months .. he was like ok when the 13 months are up give me a call back .. i wish i never called him

Lazy people I tell ya. Some of them are eager to help some other are not I wander if one's could go to an out of your city mp office to have them inquire with CIC

I don't know what you guys are complaining about.
Even the CIC website mentions to follow-up only when your application is more than their published processing times. The MP was just following this guideline. He never said he won't help you, only not at this point. Who knows if you will get the PR before then.

Having MPs successfully inquire when applications are still within the published times are more an exception than the rule.

Sure, it feels bad if Oct applicants have now landed, while I haven't (I'm a July applicant too, and still IN PROCESS). But when I applied, I knew I had to wait for ~13 months. Nowhere did CIC mention that "we will process your application depending on how fast we process other applicants." Each application is different; each MPs are different.

I am not complaining ... Been here for 10 years it's normal for me to be tired of waiting ... Especially wen I know based on my GCMS notes that my file was not touched since Feb ... That's why I am frasturated .. Was looking for a glims of hope by contacting the MP, but his tone was so not helpful .. He didn't even bother to ask for any details or how long is left for my app or anything .. Just asked one Q & that's abt it.. A 30 second phone call ...

Anyways .. We all come here to vent & get support to help us with the wait ... Thank you for being supportive ...

I am July 7/13 applicant. Medical request on March 7/14. RPRF request on March 11/14. Medicals sent by doctor on March 26/14. No news after that. RCMP fingerprint request was received in October last year. Employment letter with job duties was requested a week before medical request.

I got a BoWP and dependents' WP/SP so the pressure is off (our current status expires 02 Aug 2014).
It would have been nice to save the money spent for these, and to have the landing coincide with my US trip next week but it is what it is.

Do you have dependents? I think it makes sense that these types are processed longer since they have multiple things to process within one application (that is, they cannot approve individually while waiting for the rest of the members).
