Hi did you order GCMS?

Yes I did. In the notes it seems that they are taking a lot of time to process my application.

Eligibility: Not Started
Security: Not Started
Criminality: In Progress
Medical: Not Started

This part made me concern about my application:
"Letterhead used for employment letter provided uses a different logo than website. Evidence provided would appear to be sufficient except for concerns that letter is not credible."

I emailed them and got a generic response that my application is in process bla bla bla...

This is surprising. The notes which you mentioned should be part of Eligibility check and you say your Eligibility is not started. If you have a look at the notes again, there should be a label on Notes. Can you check what that label s for?

I think you probably misunderstood.
Your eligibility should be in progress.

Only one thing I can say, CIC has very mysterious way of processing each case.
....just wait and see...

My eCAS status was updated today as Decision Made. However am still waiting to get back passports and COPR.

IELTS: Submitted with application
App. Filed: July 30 2012
Credit Card Charged: Aug 17 2012
AOR Received: Aug 22 2012
Medicals Request: May 30 2013
Medicals Done: June 7 2013
Medicals Submitted: June 26 2013
Medicals Received status on eCAS: July 27 2013
Biodata & RPRF Request: May 30 2013
Passport Request: July 30 2013
Passport received at CIC: Aug 2 2013
COPR and stamped Passport: Waiting..


ECAS Updates:
Received Application for Permanent Residence: July 30 2012
Started processing your Application: May 29 2013
Medical Results have been received: July 27 2013
Decision Made: Aug 15 2013

Got the passport request with biodata form and RFPRF all in ONE email. My case got slowed down due to request of extra documents but finally getting close to an end!

I was also asked to send 2 photos for each applicant. Anyone else had to send additional photos?

Everybody needs to send 2 photos..with printed dates at the back.

In response to your below concern, We are waiting for the results of the mandatory background enquiry. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with a precise timeframe as often, delays in the processing of an application are out of our control as some processing steps require coordination with external authorities. Our office will get in contact with you regarding the next steps in due time."

Just my luck! Frequent Travellers beware...

I have noticed, mostly people who got there medical done in April, their files got stuck/lost in this mandatory background inquiry. Don't know why?

Oh just yesterday my HR manager got a phone call from them. And later the same day, I got an email from them requesting biodata and RFPRF!

NOICE!!! Finally they are looking into my application! Phew... a small sigh of relief.

Hey Congrats - Can you please let me know the VO who issued you RPRF. You can see VO name in the signature of email.
