Just curious to understand whether you sent a reminder to CIC to send medicals?

CIC sent us a reminder for getting our medicals done..We never received the original medical request which was sent in April by CIC..

I got the passport and COPR today for me and family. I have to plan for my landing now. So relieved.. I will use the landing instructions that some of the fellow applicants have so kindly posted. Thanks to this amazing forum and all the helpful members; it helps to know what to expect!

Hang on those who are waiting and good luck to you. Mine took under 13 months overall. There was no second level reviews or further requests during the application. Based on my observation over the past year, I think 12 -13 months can be considered regular timeline. Some cases process faster (not sure what the reason is, maybe straight forward decision cases) and some process late (if there are issues in application, second reviews, delays in clearances and so on).

From the applicants part, my experience was that if you are providing all documentation up front, there wont be any further requests or second level reviews. Send CIC all you can and don't leave anything to chance and luck.

just curious to know is there any site for checking tracker activated or not?
or only the canadapost.ca and type in your tracking number and see if it is active...

If you have an iPhone, you can use an app called "Parcel" that can track automatically and push the status to your phone (this is a paid feature though but only $2 per year).
