We did our landing yesterday.
Crossed the border and did the landing at the Peace Bridge.
The instructions posted recently on another thread helped.
Friendly officers, we were the only ones there as it was late in the night on a weekday.
Took 15 minutes at the immigration officer and 15 minutes at the CBSA officer.
The immigration offices did the paperwork, read the rights of PR holder, advised to apply for SIN and OHIP and gave the signed COPRs and passports back.
I told her I had goods to follow and I was sent to the CBSA officer.on
I had my B4 and B4A ready (2 copies). He entered the details on the system, applied CBSA stamp all pages and gave me my copy back.
And advised that I need to keep it safe and present it when I am bringing all my stuff in Canada (wehther it is in a single go or in multiple batches).
The instructions at the below link helped in preparing B4 and B4A.

We were told to expect the PR card in mail and were congratulated on our way out..
All done in 30 mins and we are Permanent Residents now.
Thanks for all the helpful members on this forum. The forum took all the anxiety away and was a helpful guide all through this long journey.
The happiest moment on the journey was when we got the Medical Request

seekr said:I got the passport and COPR today for me and family. I have to plan for my landing now. So relieved.. I will use the landing instructions that some of the fellow applicants have so kindly posted. Thanks to this amazing forum and all the helpful members; it helps to know what to expect!
Hang on those who are waiting and good luck to you. Mine took under 13 months overall. There was no second level reviews or further requests during the application. Based on my observation over the past year, I think 12 -13 months can be considered regular timeline. Some cases process faster (not sure what the reason is, maybe straight forward decision cases) and some process late (if there are issues in application, second reviews, delays in clearances and so on).
From the applicants part, my experience was that if you are providing all documentation up front, there wont be any further requests or second level reviews. Send CIC all you can and don't leave anything to chance and luck.
