No, you do not have to sign the bio-data form. Just fill it, scan it and send it through email.

It's normal. CIC is following different procedures and some people receive biodata rprf after medical or together with PPR.

hey guys i send the passport yesterday and also i followed the guidelines

If you have a mailing address in Canada: To allow you to track your passports through the mail, we strongly recommend that you purchase two (2) PREPAID Canada Post Xpresspost envelopes (National), letter-sized (318 x 241 mm), at any Canada Post retail outlet.

- Complete the mailing label on one envelope showing your mailing address in the “Deliver To” field.

- Keep a tracking number sticker from each envelope.

- Fold and enclose the self-addressed envelope in the other envelope along with your passport(s) and a copy of this request letter.

did anyone miss this when you send the passport ?

the lab told me the blood test results would take a week, that means my doc will send them to CIC in about a week or so after that? more waiting i guess. btw i did emedical.

Yes. Once your doctor receive the blood test results, he will submit the medical test results via eMedical system.

I had a few questions.

1. Is the medical test to be done while fasting. The doctors office did not give any such instructions. I asked because there is blood work involved.

2. I had a baby in Canada after I applied for PR. I had sent CIC the birth certificate and had received confirmation it was added to the file. Do I need to enter the baby's name, height and eye color on the bio data form? Or can I skip it since the baby does not need a PR?

3. I am planning to edit the bio data form on computer and save it and send it. Is there a need to hand write and scan and send?

Can those who went through the process please advise?

1. for my medical, no fasting was required.
2. i am not sure about this, sorry.
3. i copied and pasted the biodata form into MS word, filled it in by typing, and saved it as a PDF and sent it off by email. I just did that yesterday, no replies from them yet.

hope that helped!
