I was thinking today for applying under PNP rather than to sit like stupid and wait for their response.......just noticed they recently rejected a May 2012 applicant can you imagine after one full fucking year .......

Hahaha.........well dont know about others but l m not mad......l m scared for COMING BACK TO THE SQUARE END.....l m happy to wait if thr is some sort of guarantee....since its a privilege...l m scared of wasting time.......

I was saying same thing to my immigration lawyer.....n he said SAY GOOD THINGS......YOU HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING DIFFERENT....YOU ARE 100% ELIGIBLE....well I guess just MR is enough to calm down my nerves....

Dude..i didn't send them anything. But I agree that the process is not transparent. We dont know if the VO simply gets bored and says...i had enough of July...ok let's check out the dudes from September..or some other month. Right now, this is what it seems.

I know the champion member Seton or Jes ..are quickly going to respond...past events are not reflective of future and its done in batches. That could be a possibility and I'd understand if there was some overlap between May and July. But it seems more like VOs are given every new month's file as a prize or something. lol.

And like hamad said earlier - there is no one who can intercede before 13 months. I'm just saying the process needs to be more transparent. Standard replies don't help.

I think you're pointing at me. I understand your pain buddy. But honestly you can't do anything but getting overwhelmingly impatient at this juncture unless you accept the fact that CIC may take more or less a year to throw in a decision. Which might as well sound rational if you think from there end. If that makes you feel little better.

Besides, you can't either do anything god forbids if they reject your application for a silly reason. Being patient is good for you. Stay calm.

After reading your response.....I think I am eligible to apply under International Graduate Category......n it shows their processing time is just 1 month....it looks really appealing in this situation....but don't know....guess its too early.....

infoseekr you know I used to worked with provincial licensing department and I used to select the thinnest files from the pile of applications hoping that those would be the easiest one....lolz.....may be they are doing the same thing with us

yep processing times are similar here in Alberta, I will wait till august and then go with pnp route if I had to.....

Folks - Or it may just that some VOs are not as fast as others. If your GCMS is all good, then it's really a matter of time (although the waiting is enough to kill you).

Batches or not, we know that there is a due date on each activity (refleted in GCMS). And then there are complicated cases.

I am sure we all will get the MR in another week or so. Hang on!

The 1-month is provincial processing time, and then it's sent to CIC where it takes another 13 months, just like CEC.

My ECAS status just got updated today. Status is now DECISION MADE.


Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Must be luck of the Irish ... did you receive PPR?
