Hello July thread. My wife landed on February 20th in Montreal. I went to Europe to pick her and our baby daughter and we all flew back to Canada. :) The actual landing took about 10 minutes. We had to wait our turn for longer at the immigration office. Finally all together!!! :)
Congratulaitons Lioha! So happy for you and your family's new life together in Montreal! I will update the spreadsheet.

Congrats figgy! Wow, The PR Card didn't take long at all...

Decided not to check e-cas all weekend.
First thing at work this morning and I say, hey what the hell, and check. See what was on e-cas below:

We received your application for permanent residence on July 23, 2012.

We started processing your application on February 22, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

I don't know if this is good or bad, but I'll just pretend it's PPR. :)

Aw shucks..., well the truth is I'm not quite sure what that means. They haven't sent an email yet or snail mail. So I'll hold off on the congratulatory messages till then.

I hope i'll be shouting out in a few days.

Cheers guys

need serious guidance and help
my case is very tricky and unresolved
we applied our application in june 2012
we lost our application number and file number
we have called embassy and they have been saying that they require some documents but the list has not reached us
my medical will expire in april i just dont know what i can do from India
i need help :'(
plsss help

Hi Vipasha

Why don't you email your Visa Officer and request the list of documents they require and your File number.

I wouldn't worry too much about your medical, if it expires you'll just have to do another one. I realise that it is time and money but not point worrying about something thats out of our control.

Cheers

ECAS Changed to Decision Made this Morning. :)

UK and Australia applications are moving really fast compared to those of us out of Manila VO.

It will happen for you soon, dawndarkharp.... do not worry! It's annoying that it's taking longer than others in July, but it's still within the nine month timeframe - I think unfortunately you somehow managed to be one of the last in the batch at Sydney... fingers crossed you will hear something soon!
