I don't think all VOs give AOR's as far as I am aware, I think it changes from place to place.
You could try talking to someone on the Islamabad thread- as they will probably have the most recent info regarding timelines and communication with Islamabad VO.
Yes, I agree that the anxiety doesn't really fade, just transfers to the next step of the process ???

Well got some good news at 1 am my time ......trv visa was issued to the wife in Bangkok so she will get too see Halloween snow and xmas lol

With so many mixed replies I did not know what to think would happen, but soon as lady at embassy saw that spousal was approved she gave back most of the application when it was dropped off, came back 5 business days later and had the visa ..... so happy tonight

so now booking a flight to go pick her up and book her flight to come to the great white north .....

Hey Julyers! Just wanted to visit again from August and say congrats on filling up your spreadsheet so quickly, I hope you finish it off this week. I feel like this is gonna be a good week for everyone in July/August so lets all stay positive and root each other on =) I'm still waiting for my AOR/approval letter so I'm getting anxious, but I still have a few days before I hit 69 days so I'm trying to stay patient.

It's also very nice to see those second stage AORs popping up!
