Hi! You are a July applicant? They only asked for this now?Where is the applicant originally from? Seem like they havent received payment for the processing fee yet. If your documents are still in Ottawa, does that mean they havent forwarded your papers to your home country yet? But theyre requesting for the copy of your passport, this is addressed to the sponsor right?

Yes I'm a July applicant. My sponsor is Canadian and I am from England. We applied originally to Buffalo and the file got transferred to Ottawa to be processed so the papers wont be sent to my home country??. We paid the $75 sponsor fee and $475 applicant fee...now they are asking for the $490 right of permanent resident fee. No, this is all addressed to me (the applicant, not the sponsor)

Hello there, thank you so much. Really your helping me a lot. I have checked it online and it only says

For sponsorship
Application to sponsor... Has been rcvd july 26, 2012.
We started processing your application oct 11, 2012

No worries! That means if you nominated Mexico City as your VO, it will have begun starting processing there :) It sounds like the second stage is almost complete and you will be receiving your PPR and then hopefully your COPR shortly!

Sure thing!

Will add you now :) Good luck with the rest of the process!

Hello Bagelbagel81,

I think you made a mistake with my entry in the July spread sheet.
Instead of July 2012 you entered July 2013 under the "application received by CIC" column, also I got an AOR from the London office on the 24th of Jan 2013 when I sent a change in circumstances email to the office. I was informed by the office that my file was there and I was asked to provide documents regarding the change in circumstances.

Thanks.

Tommyboy

Thanks hopefully everything will be ok. I am sponsoring my common-law partner who is a mexican thats why mexico is the VO. He was here before but his application as a refugee claimant was not approved so he went back home and we applied a spousal sponsorship. Before he went back home, he did his rcmp n medical here in canada.

Hey Bagel,

Can you please update the spreadsheet? I applied to CPP-O on July 6th and got PPR today. Thanks for all the updating you do!

Oops! That would probably explain why on the spreadsheet it said yours had been processing for '-173' days... haha. All fixed ;)

Hi, CIC is asking me to redo my Medical Exam. My medical has expired (Originally done in October 2011) since I was one of the buffalo cases transferred to Ottawa.
How many passport photos are required for medical exam for immigration to canada ? Should they be Canadian sized passport photos or American sized passport photos ? If it is Canadian, what size should it be ?

Thanks,

Thanks,

I am not sure what American passport size is, however I know I just used regular passport size (with the bigger head, not the smaller head they asked for with the initial application) I think they end up using about three or four. Best to get four just in case!

Thanks,

For us, they requested 5 passport photos for the medical and the size was American sized which is 2x2. 2 inches by 2 inches. :)
