Congrats to all who've reached the next step!

Question for whomever would like to answer... I've just checked ECAS to see if anything else has been added and now it just shows my name and address! It used to show 'application received' or something along those lines but now it shows nothing other than my home details.

Anyone else experienced this? Is there a problem?

I think that means it will change to "decision made" next.

Just checked my status online and it STILL says application received as my status. Though I also have my address in there now so I assume that means they've actually opened my package at this point... this waiting game is killing me when people that sent after me are already approved.

I'm in the same boat. Waiting is killing me! Worse yet, my spouse has to leave my country in a month and a half, and I don't know if they'll approve a visitor's visa extension. But it's always good to have hope Some case workers and VOs are faster than others.

So as long as your address is not changing, that means your package hasnt been opened?

I pray all goes well at the interview. Are you the applicant or the sponsor? Why does CIC request an interview for some and not for others? What do they base it on? Best to you

I am so sorry to hear that Double Rainbow! You seem to have an awesome fighting spirit, so I am sure you will both get through this and come out the other side! Please let us know how you progress with the appeal!!

My fiancées COPR arrived today! It was in a package along with all our pictures and bank statements that they decided to return! Only problem was the entire package was destroyed and everything in it was wet! Canada post had to out it all in a plastic bag with a printed apology on it.

So our COPR is sitting near the heater drying out.

We are going to buffalo on Saturday to flagpole and hope its a s,oath process. Any advice on what documents we need to take?

First.. I will say congrats to those who are having much success Also, to those who have faced challenges like Double Rainbow, Don't give up cos love conquers all. I agree about the marriage part, Forcing you is bad and I have applied conjugal and this is going to be tough to prove but we remain hopeful. So.. my partner sent Rome embassy everything on January 4, new police checks and financial proof. They sent us a email stating they have not received anything and cannot process it. They threatened us and said this is the 2nd and final notice and we have 30 more days. I was blue mad cos the package has been signed and delivered 8 days ago and they have lost it. So.. I asked them to let me know when they find it. It's all been a rough process, nothing goes smoothly, especially getting police check again. But.. they say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I feel mentally exhausted and pray all goes well and we get an answer soon.

I have Hope... and faith but most of all.. I have love Best to all!!
