Hi everyone

On thursday I sent what the Visa Office requested from my wife package and UPS delivered the package yesturday morning, just before the year ends . My wife alos completed her x-ray as requested. The doctor is off on holidays till January 7th, so the x-ray will not move till then . I hope it is close to the end now. We did send all pages of the passport in the UPS package which is the last step usually. SO if they asked for it, I guess it will not take long now, I hope.

Rome sent me an e-mail Dec. 4 dating back to Nov.19 as it was sent to the wrong email address of an old lawyer we were using to get a TRV last May. So.. they requested all new police checks from 3 countries, proof of shared assets and visits since we got married. However, we are not married and applled conjugal. Waiting to receive finger prints from my partner so I can send them to the Caribbean. The mail system has been our biggest obstacle over the holidays. I pray we meet the deadline. Wishing all of you the best and Merry Christmas and hope everyone arrives in Canada in the New Year

Hello,

My husband received the request to send his passport to the Visa office in Paris, which is great news. My only concern is he has not received his Confirmation of Permanent Residence, just to make sure, he will receive this once he gets his passport back? Thanks for your help!

The COPR is last step, either than landing. Once the Paris VO receives your husband's passport they will do some final checks and then issue the COPR. They will return his passport along with the COPR. The sooner they get his passport the sooner he will get his COPR. Basically, you guys at 95% done and with luck should be ready for a good Valentines Day.

Congrats to all who've reached the next step!

Question for whomever would like to answer... I've just checked ECAS to see if anything else has been added and now it just shows my name and address! It used to show 'application received' or something along those lines but now it shows nothing other than my home details.

Anyone else experienced this? Is there a problem?

Thank you all for your help. I have another question, when my husband sends his passport, does he need to send Paris a pre-registered return envelope, so they can send back his passport?
