Yeah, dates are always confusing. Especially when you live in Quebec, as the dates in English are MM/DD and dates in French are DD/MM :-\

Anyways, I just got better news. VO emailed me this morning asking for my daughter's passport. They said they are ready to issue her immigrant visa

She's already with me in Canada under tourist status. But, now I'll be able to get her medicare card and forget about asking for a visitor status extension

I am from the states and married to a Canadian. We were married in NY, live here in Canada and filed from within. Immigration recieved our docs on July 14th and acknowledge receipt in the system on November 1st. Let the games begin

There is no email for Immigration that I am aware of. You have to send it via post. I was at the embassy in October and they no longer let you go up to general inquiries for anything concerning immigration. They have made it impossible to make inquiries.

My wife got a request for passport + resume/CV today (Dec 13th). They want it by the Dec 28th. One step closer , hope they can waive interview and just issue COPR
