Our application was filed July 17th, sponsor approval august 26, police reports requested from mexico city october 12! everything seems to be moving quickly an efficiently!

super positive news on my side.

Hong Kong visa office sent me an email requesting passport...

but Mississauga office messed up our police certificate...(my wife is in state; we submitted our FBI PC after sending out the full package) now HK office asked us to contact Mississauga to transfer that piece and request another New York State PC which i dont see in the application kit requirement...

anyway good luck to all julyers....

Well hopefully you can get the police certificate thing worked out with Mississauga. On the other hand, it's great to hear someone has gotten their PPR already.

we chose beijing but got transferred to hong kong.

Just loged into Ecas, it shows application in process as of October 30th 2012 for my wife. We are getting looked at now . I wonder if it is the fact that I had sent extra proof of relationship on my own that made them take our file?

Congrats lioha! Could be the case that it prompted them to change your status, otherwise just a strange coincidence?

Holy crap! Got PPR via email this afternoon. Can't believe it. This must be a record. Only about 2 weeks after receiving AOR2 from HK. They must be making up for stage 1.
