Haha! That's funny because my sponsor says the same thing about me! Having said that I am trying to expect less so I might be pleasantly surprised

My sponsor says the same thing about me, haha... only that in this case I think I'm right in being impatient, since he doesn't seem to be too stressed about finishing the application to send it off!

I may have to join the August thread in the future :-[

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this board. I am the sponsor of my other half of four years. We mailed our application to CPC-M on 9th July and it was received on 12th July. The PR application is going to be processed through London.

I'm returning to Canada in a month's time to start a new job and my other half is going to stay in the UK and wait for the PR application to be processed.

Can someone please add me to the spreadsheet?

FYI:

CIC now processing apps from April 30th and sponsor approval reduced to 86 days. At least things are moving in the right direction.

It appears that January applicants: 70; February applicants: 63; March applicants: 65; April applicants: 50; May applicants: 40; June applicants: 26; July applicants: 23. The numbers of the applicants decrease from Jan to Jul. The waiting time will also decrease.

The applicants don't want to land on Canada in winter, so they applied in winter and will land in summer.

I hope we still end up being July applicants. We are delayed right now because we're waiting on a paper or two to come in the mail. Fingers crossed that they get here in time! We like you guys and gals! haha What if the August crew isn't as awesome? =(

two days ago, i was still able to check my status from previous PR applications (including my current mailing address, visa office, etc) at cic website. now, they cant identify me any more....i hope some good news might be ahead...

anyone else have similar experience???

Technically you should be able to use your receipt number, but from what other forum members have been saying, it doesn't work.

Usually when the Sponsor gets a UCI number sent via email (or snail mail) you can use that to log in a few days after you receive it. You can also use your spouse's if they already have one, or when they receive one from the VO.
