I sent a couple emails but never received a response. When I looked yesterday ecas had changed to "In process"! I'm so excited for the next steps! I know it takes a little while, but now that I know something is happening it's so worth the extra patiencebagelbagel81 said:Woohooo! Did eCas get updated, or did you call/hear a response via email??
excellent news! You will have Decision made popup in no time!dawndarkharp said:I sent a couple emails but never received a response. When I looked yesterday ecas had changed to "In process"! Eeeee!!! We can't wait. We've lived in limbo for so long. Thank you to everyone for all the support, especially you, bagel. Congratulations to everyone else! I hope things go smoothly for us from now onbagelbagel81 said:excellent news! You will have Decision made popup in no time!
bagelbagel81 said:Hi remmuh, welcome! I have added you to the spreadsheet. I think the Manila VO is one of the busiest in terms of processing VISAS, so I don't think they give Stage 2 AORs, having said that it may not be the case every time! Your best bet might be to ask someone in a Manila thread, and take a look at previous Manila spreadsheets.
Good-luck with Stage 2!
Processing done within 5 days, no PPR, and the Philippines is not a visa-exempt country... others might have a more definitive answer but I would be concerned. I hope I'm wrong.remmuh said:Thanks bagel.
I just checked online and our status changed to DECISION MADE!
---
We started processing ###'s application on April 4, 2013.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on ###'s application. The office will contact ### concerning this decision.
---
But we have yet to receive a PPR...
I'm a little nervous. Is this normal?
This is stage 1 which now gets done in a few days as opposed to last year at this time. Mine took 5 months just for stage 1. My wife's PR application was sent to the Manila VO in October and has not even been opened yet. Rummah has at least a 7 month wait from this point.frankinto said:Processing done within 5 days, no PPR, and the Philippines is not a visa-exempt country... others might have a more definitive answer but I would be concerned. That's not true at all. This could be when they got around to inputting it into Ecas. My husband's ecas said, "We started processing the application on November 26th" and he had decision made on November 26th. His visa was granted within 3 months and 3 days of us submitting the application to MISSISSAUGA. So this PPR could just be coming in the mail. Also, they're not going to deny without an interview. The PPR is coming, don't worry!remmuh said:Thanks bagel.

Ecas is meaningless. It will tell you when they received your application. All other info you will get by email or post. Stage 2 processing times are dependent of the volume of applications through the VO. If Rummuh's VO is Manila the wait will be longer than 6 months.tink23 said:That's not true at all. Yes, Ecas is useless most of the time, which is what I said. The date that Rummuh has on there, could just be when they got around to putting it into the system, and therefore not only 5 days after they opened the file.CanadianJeepGuy said:Ecas is meaningless. No, I was approved in mid October 2012 for Stage 1. So this is Stage 2.CanadianJeepGuy said:This is stage 1 which now gets done in a few days as opposed to last year at this time. Sorry. I just realized I'm in the July thread and I found you on the spreadsheet. By that measure it looks like another month for the PPR.remmuh said:No, I was approved in mid October 2012 for Stage 1. So this is Stage 2.
Thanks! for the reassurance!
I was eagerly waiting for a PPR, but decided to check the status online and noticed it was DECISION MADE, without PPR yet.
Not sure exactly when it went from PROCESSING to DM status. I guess it could have been the same day too!
I just searched the forums and found that this has happened many times before.
Now, I have wait for the PPR!
