Looks like CIC are picking up steam... most of the numbers have increased which means they were able to open more applications in an attempt to close the gap between the date of receiving an application and opening it.

This leads back to the eternal question: How big is the Gap? is it around 45 days as some of us (including me) assume? or is it few days back as some other folks on this forum are saying?

The average of numbers of applications received for noc 0631 was around 2 per day and jumped to 2.5 per day all the sudden (which is why I was so mistaken with my prediction), to explain this from a different angle: number of application updated on CIC website was 60 that were received in 40 days and it almost doubled in 15 days however logic says that you should have more application received towards the begining of July (as the Cap was reached last year which means several applications were ready to be resent on July 1st).

So, the increase in numbers contradicts the logic. The best explanation that I can think of is that CIO was so focused on NOC 1122 (being the NOC with the highest number of applications received and the most controversial NOC) that they had additional staff working on it which ment automaticaly that other NOC were not being updated at the same pace! now that the 1122 is full, they have more employees to check the other NOCs. this can be confirmed if we hear news in the next few days of encashement from other noc before July 8th (a possible cut off date for NOC 1122).

The same rational can be implemented on NOC 3152, just replace 0631 by 3152 in the second Para.

For those who could be offended by the text in bold above: please don't be (offended), let us agree to disagree on that point and we will wait and see, after all everybody makes mistakes.

BETTER TO WAIT AND WATCH :o

When doubting your qualification, make sure to check the Come to Canada Wizard in the CIC site. This will help you in determining if you have enough points for the application. This and other good information on Migrating to Canada <- here.

You should write what you have and can keep till the end. no matter if its few more dollars than the required amount. like if you have $17500 and can keep it till end or near about it then mention 17500.

thanks!
