Hi, well this hard to say, buy my hopes dissapear every day more and more, caus my aplication pacakage was received on July13th I sent it on July8th... because my IELTS resultas were gave me that day, i also took another IELTS on december but a i didn`t get higher proficiency so i took another ielts on june, but... nobody was a wizard to predict what would happen... According to my calculations the cap it should be reach de second or third week of July at worst, but i failed. I dont know i have a little hopes... i dont wanna wait for another year last year i cannot send the docuements because I decided to inmigrate on spetember, too late, this year i was very optimistic but the true was so cruel... just in 4 days!!! 500 aplications!!! really i dont beleive, but where they live??? because Im from soputh america and my package arrived n July13th, i was waiting because if you remenber the 1st, 2nd a 3rd there were no news!!! unti 4th, so the people who is in the cap definitly sent their aplication after the new proccess starts, think it was very risky, but they served... I dont know what to do, maybe i will try to get a visa for studiees with a work permit, maybe... what other option we have despiet of wait for July 2012???... By the other hand I propose to unit us to sent a letter to the Canadian Authorities , i dot know, maybe the first minister or secretary of foreign affairs, telling them about our dissapointment with de inmigration process for skilled workers of the NOC 1122, the proccess is unfair!

dont worry..your from south america..at least your closer to canada unlike all of us..we are at the other edge of the world..Im sure youll have more opportunities and its easier to get a visa in your country..unlike our country..its really difficult to get a visa..maybe we can try a student visa..try to look for a college who has graduate studies course..

I feel NOC 3152 should have closed by the 16th of July at that rate..

I really think so too.. 4days = cap reached for noc 1122..then 4days= 252 caps for noc 3152..plus another 4days=500caps for noc 3152..It could be full by july 11-16.. :-X :-X

I am sorry for everyone who did not make it this year... those who have applied under 1122 maybe can take up jobs in Insurance companies, get 1 year experience and next year apply under 1233 'Insurance Adjusters and Claims Examiners' :

My application reached CIO on 7th July 2011 and CC was charged on 11th August 2011...

I haven't heard from CIO since then... Any idea what is the time frame for getting PER and/or the file number.... did anyone receive their file number yet or any positive email from CIO...

But actually if you think about it, when you apply for the visa you are eligible to stay longer versus limited number of days depending on the agreement between your birth nation and the developed world and this is only for social visits. E.g. Tourist visa holders are eligible to remain in the us for 6 months and are eligible to receive 10-yr visa versus visa waiver country individuals that are required to register online every time before they enter the us and limited to 30 days visit each time.

Initial visa application is a nuisance but once you get it, it's makes it a lot easier to visit.
