I am a media professional and at a senior level that may not be a guarantee but at least support me that whatever I m typing is error free if it was 15th aug why i would be so surprised it is [size=10pt][size=10pt]15th July 2011 day of friday. [/size][/size]

Hmm he didn't say it was cashed, he said it was presented.

The recipient presents the draft to their bank, much like a personal cheque, and then it takes a certain number of days for those funds to clear and to reach the recipient's account.

So whereas I agree it seems unlikely they would have opened the application, performed the completeness check, sent the draft off to accounts AND presented the draft to the bank within 1 day - it isn't impossible.

as far as i know,

When one get a dd made. the amount debits from our account, goes to bank's suspense account untill the dd is presented. after that it does take some time to get the money into the recievers account. correct me if im wrong.

I passed my IELTS just today and i plan to submit my application early next week and i hope i can reach the cap under NOC 3152.
My problem is that i dont know wat the documents ill be needing to submit?
And Can i use METROBANK here in the philippines for the bankdraft for 550 CAD?

I really don't believe your BD was charged the next day (15th july) just after reaching ur application (14th july). There must have happened something wrong with the transaction or may be the recipient name is wrong or the one u r dealing with is making fool of u.

I am sorry to say but bd/cc/dd can't be encashed just on the next day the applicantion reached CIO.

Since none of us works with CIO or have direct contact with someone who works there, I'll not rule this out as unbelievable. With CIO, anything is possible, so give Satish the benefit of the doubt.

Well, CIC says that: Applications received toward the overall cap: 1,296 of 10,000 as of August 22, 2011.

That's it. They don't say 25th July or 4th August. They say 22nd August. Who will pay for all those refunds and documents return if this is not correct. Think about it.

complete app form.
copy of passport (notarised)
IELTS original copy
COE (original), contract of employment (notarised or certified true copy)
college school documents; photocopies of diploma, TOR (notarised or certified true copy)
settlement funds; Bank certificate, account transaction, (original)
identity and civil status docs; photocopy of birth cert, marriage cert (notarised)
police cert; if avail already can be sent
pictures; 6 copies


for fee payment ask METROBANK if they issue bank draft.. you must hav an acct w/ the bank.. I used BPI BD
