If the Total Complete Applications were really only those received up until July 6 and since the trends seem to pretty much stay the same until present day, then the 770 present complete applications would translate into over 4600 applications received by CIC to date. If half of those are for NOC 1122 (as expected), that would mean CIC already has more than 2300 applications. Minus the 500 cap, you get at least 1800 extra applications for 1122 alone. Since the cap is still open, this would probably get to as much as 2500 extra applications.
Now if it takes on average $20 to ship these applications back, that's $50,000 spent on extra 1122 applications alone, I can't imagine their management being this bad!!!
I believe they're backed up by less than 3 days and trying to keep a close grip so they minimize the number of extra applications, since that would benefit both the applicants and CIC.

I guess ffrom next year onwards CIC will charge an application return fee of $30 CAD if your application does not make it into the cap. Or they may even choose the 'pay by receiver' option. Who would not want to have their documents back. So, the applicant will end up paying for the return postal charges. I won't be surprised if this happens.

no body know why these cc/bd are getting so much delay in charging. why it is getting so slow by their end?
their would be some specific reasons for this.

I don't understand why people in this forum are so pessimistic.
Charging is not done by the CIC so they transfer the CC/BD to charge and that may take up to a month since the receiver general has other things to do.

Sorry but I am not coveyince with this analysis.

There are so many factor, people has to give IELTS, and they are waiting for TRF card also, you can feel gear up the numbers from Sep onwards.
So please dont count like this.

I beleive that complete applications are may be till date or later till july end. As 365 apps are complete but only about 10-15 apps been charged. Apps has been started checkin since start of july and CC/BD been charged since 20th of july. after this, both (completeness and encashment) have got same time but big differences is in their counts.
1. Encashment startd from 20th of july onwards . . . . 15 days after js completeness check starts.
2. Encashment is too slow comparatively.
3. Moreover, whether complete apps are till 7th or 8th july or till any date but encashment are too low in number comparatively. Which means no direct relation between date of complete apps being considered and encashment of DD/CC.
i can't agree more, as what's the point in piling up applications till now ?
for example, if the 391 1122 appl. is form the first week only, why do they still receive appls for that noc.#?

CIC is daily updating website to keep the applicants inform. If that number is so useless and they had received thousands of application in backlog than they dont need to do this regularly. They would had quickly announced cap atleast 15th of JULY.So considering 336 applications till 6th of july is not only crazy but completely insane. In my opinion update reflects an approximate number as of 9th August. This is what we told and we have to believe.A maximum lag of week can be possible. In completeness check charging an application is not prime responsibility of an applicant but to attach the CC/BD form of payment. An applicant complete his responsibility by attaching draft. In any case payment draft is missing or the info to charge a card is missing then it would be consider incomplete.Otherwise it would be considered complete.

The argument of CIC geting $550 * 500 into pocket first is also hollow as CIO eventualy know they will going to get this money in any case because of number of applicants available and ready to be replaced ,so they are not that insecured.
