Hi.

Then How can we come to know the status ?
According to website now VISA office will send AOR, means it will take time to come to know the initial process of the file, Am I right or wrong?

Please let me know, my file has submitted on 22nd July then till what time I will get first communication from CIC/VISA office?

hi,

as far i am concerned, CIO will send the PER/NER.
PER (positive eligibility review) will include the client no.
in the later stage only, when ur file or medicals are sent to VO, then they will send AOR.

hope it helped.

yeh, it seems like they will not be issuing AORs (from CIO) for those who have applied after 18th july '11.

::: rockstar :::

They don't usually issue AOR (or PER) until after the eligibility review.

An application counts towards cap after its completeness check, but before the eligibility review.

So it's not too surprising that no-one post-July-2011 is reporting receiving AOR/PER yet.

Give it a few weeks!

hello, things are getting changed.

first pls have a detail look on this:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/resources/manuals/bulletins/2011/ob327.asp

it is written:

for PR applicants (may be after 18 july 2011),
* Because of short processing times between application creation in GCMS and eligibility letter, CIO cancels the AOR.
* The visa office must manually send an AOR to the PR applicant or authorized representative once PR file is received.

hope i am understood.

hi,

Followings are sololy upon my own knowledge, may not 100% correct.

1. PER: positive eligibility review (means u r passed for 67pts.), NER: negative eligibility review (means u r NOT passed)
2. 1st PER given by CIO, 2nd PER by VO
3. no, AOR is just the acknowledgment of receipt
4. timelines are not fixed, my assumption is 1-2 months for AOR, 2-4 for PER.

Thanks +1 for you!

Hi,
This means they will not intimate you wether you are eligible for further process or not?

Will CIC will communicate to Applicant or not??

FYI

I found the link were it states that AOR's are being automated starting the 18th of July

http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/resources/manuals/bulletins/2011/ob327.asp

Lets hope for the best!

Read the table "Office issuing the AOR"
Federal Skilled Worker Program

Because of short processing times between application creation in GCMS and eligibility letter, CIO cancels the AOR.
The visa office must manually send an AOR to the PR applicant or authorized representative once PR file is received.

well guys...i think this is a gud news and it will decrease the timeline of entire process. this is what i understand after reading the bulletins:

1. This is for all the applications received on or after 18th July.
2. CIC will send AOR / PER in email as per the format given by them.
3. CIC will not send any physical letter to your address
4. You will receive physical letter (AOR / PER) from your respective VO
5. CIC will send AOR / PER via email within 24 hours from the time when the reviewing officer is satisfied with your case and considers you eligible for PR
6. The only time saved in the entire process is the time taken by physical PER / AOR issued by CIC to reach the applicant.
7. All applications received on or before 17th july will be sent phisycal PER / AOR

comments please...
