Dear forum members,

I am sure most of you are anxious about your applications and how long the process will take. I personally am also daunted by future hurdles that may come our way as we attempt to immigrate to Canada (eapecially in the competitive FSW-1 NOC 1122 category).

I believe the best way to reduce our anxiety is to inform ourselves of everything we can possibly learn regarding the immigration process.

I am sure many of you have done a lot of research and found useful material which can shed some light on what we as applicants can expect as our application progresses. I encourage all of you to share useful links or tips / advice from professionals or recent migrants.

I will begin by sharing a link which i found very useful. It is a comprehensive blog by a gentleman who recently got his visa. I am sure many of you have already seen his page but this is for those who have not stumbled upon his blog yet:

Do check it out. His timelines, tips and advice on how to deal with problems etc. are very useful. He is also a member of this forum so if you are reading this Wayne, thanks for the effort you have put into your blog and good luck with your new life in Canada!

Sorry westpoint. This spreadsheet was not of New delhi VO, so not all of them were from VO New Delhi. sansari, odv, omo naija, niala, whistler, alpha male, red horse, hussain, birror, Dunno their VO. And ojooluseguno VO is Accra. They were in 1122 NOC spreadsheet. Will write in that thread and ask for their VOs.

As far as I have seen in the forum, not all applicants have been included in this spreadsheet. It is only when one checks out another thread that we know there are other applicants too. Lets see who r the lucky ones to get thru the first hurdle.

do u have any idea how long it takes for BD/DD payment to be negotiated?

it will usually take two weeks !!!

i called my bank today. 26th july and my BD has NOT been cleared still.. ohhh
my.. does it mean I dis not pass completeness check?!! or maybe d rest also shares d same delimma?! late charge maybe... soo anxious..!!! and getting a tiny bit sad

dont worry moyrzg....it will atleast take two weeks to your bd to get charged. i would suggest you check with you bank only after 1st august. two week is the minimum time and it may even take more. you should start worrying only if your bd is not encashed even after a month from the date your application was received.

it's okay, data are subject to corrections and we'll do that once they give the right one kindly inform them about our thread too so we can better monitor the number of applicants and see how the process goes
