hi every body,
i am from Pakistan, i have a question in the generic form i need to write the name of the immigration office that is repsonsible for the country of my nationality. what is confusing for me is that, previously London VISA office was processing applications fort Pakistani Applicants. what is the difference bw immigration office and visa office?????? what should i write in point 4 of my application form ????????
i am in hurry, i wish to apply asap

immigration office/visa office is one, it will be the office that will process your application and usually it is the country of your residence. for example, a Filipino applicant who works in Saudi but is Filipino Citizen should write Manila, Philippines as his/her visa or immigration office. He should send his/her complete application package to CIO in Nova Scotia Canada. If CIO finds his/her application eligible it will then forward that application package to your visa/immigration office for processing. hope this answered your question.

Date application was received by CIO: July 5th, 2011 (received by D. Stapleton)
Mode of Payment (bankdraft/credit card): Credit Card
Date Processing Fee was encashed: July 22nd, 2011
Destination in Canada (the one you wrote in your application form): Toronto, ON

Not using any agency or representative.

You forgot to include ojooluseguno, pan30,ravi07, kpdes, rajughosh, nawneetdalal, S Aslam, rasance, (all except ojooluseguno from New Delhi VO) in the spreadsheet. Also, would like to suggest, can you arrange the applications as per date sent, as it would be easier for people to look around.

it was arranged like that before, according to date sent, but there were request to arrange the information on the spreadsheet according to the date application was received this way it can be easily analyzed how long it takes for cio to encash processing fee payment and from there how long it takes for the application to get AOR and so forth...

when your looking for a certain applicant, like for example your name, just press ctrl key and then f, type your name and it will take you to the specific name ur looking for. hope this helps make the search easy.

I think the date when applications were received by CIO matters .

As later on in ecas too they update this (application was received ) date.

Date of sending is insignificant.

Westpoint,

BD transactions to happen takes minimum 5 days. Then for this to show in bank's records would take another 3-5 days. But I stand to be corrected.
