I can't log into ecas as agent is dealing with it. She says until she receives a case file she will not be able to email LVO. According to some here though LVO don't issue an AOR they jump straight to medical request and fees. Can you enlighten me? I am worried as the process could take a lot longer than anticipated if my agent is correct. By the way she is very well established and we trust her.

It is very kind of you to help. x

First: your timelines are unlikely for MI3 but still possible i.e. it is possible that you still don't have a medical request but I feel that you should receive it soon and not in a few month like your consultant is telling you.
Second and most important: you should be able to log to ecas even if you have a consultant. https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en follow this link and fill in the required details and check your ecas. You will take your next step based on what you read on your ecas so please share that with us. If you feel more confortable, you can PM your number (with country code) and I will call you to discuss in details based on your ecas.

Note that you can email LVO by yourself even if you have a consultant and you can log to ecas (this is a must).
LVO does not process applications based on first in first out but 5 months after PER is too long of a waiting period. You check timelines of other applicants by clicking on the link under my signature line!

Hi, friends
I got e mail on my request for reconsideration of my application from the officer. He stated that the only tool I have is to apply again. The office does not consider any additional docs after decision has been made. Although one guy advised me to do that because his case was opened after request.
So, guys that is my experience. But I am going to apply again. Besides I know my mistakes. And I will be prepared more for that.
I have one question. Do I have to collect all documents (notarized copies of translated diplomas and so on) again for new application? Or filled forms will be enough because they already have the same docs?

You have to file your application as a brand new package. You have to treat it as a new application - forms - docs - everything
