Hi abhishek ,
Pl reconfirm that .
should i need to send documents to NDVO ?.
I received AOR on 8 feb2012

positive power ...you would have submitted all your docs to CIC based on which you got PER. So unless your VO specifically asks for further documents you need not provide any. Or in case there has been a change in your marital status, addition to the family etc.

WHAT IS CIIP?

Hello Forax,

This is the start of the CIIP letter.

On behalf of the Government of Canada, the Foreign Credentials Referral Office
(FCRO) at Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) would like to encourage
you to attend the free orientation services offered by the Canadian Immigrant
Integration Program (CIIP), as described in the enclosed brochure.

You need to go to the website and register for the programme.

And there's another website that you need to visit to get your educational credentials validated.

Cheers

Congrats dear firestyle_jutsu :)

Dear stranger4ever,

Based on the details you have provided and after reading the letter from CIO, I totally believe that the decision is right. I am sorry that this cannot be changed into a PER as the 7 yrs exp cannot be taken into consideration for awarding points.

My advice is to apply again- By March 2012, you friend would have gained 3 yrs experience and will now get 19 points for work experience as against 17 points for 2 yrs. Since, there is no fear of cap full for 0811, I suggest that he applies once again asap with an updated experience letter showing 3 complete yrs. Rest all points remain the same and now he should get 68 points and will get a PER. Do not wait for MI5 since we do not know what will happen next.

I also suggest that your friend should look up the new version (2011) of NOC descriptions released by HRSDC which is very important to make sure all is well with the second application.

All the best. Let me know if you have additional questions.

Dear Westpoint, RKC, Y.H, LuckyMystery,

I had posted an inquiry on page 1476 last night and I need your expert advice in this matter.

I need your advice in a situation that one of my friend is !

He applied under NOC 0811 with 2-1/2 Years of experience and received 17 points for this experience.
He had also proved with documents, work experience in NOC 6513( waiter) for the period of time 2001-2008
but CIO Officer did not take this into consideration and therefore he received in my opinion an unfair NER.

My question to you guys is:

If you qualify in any of the 29 listed CIC occupations with a minimum of one year experince in an eligible NOC
and be able to prove that you also have 7 years experience in another NOC that is not in category 0, A, B
but in category C with full time / part time employment, does this count towards your work experience?

I'm trying to help my friend to turn this NER into a PER......... >:(

Any advice in this matter it will be very much appreciated by both of us !

I will copy paste the NER letter received this passed friday by my friend.

Hearty congratulations to Saqib2 for your new born darling! It is indeed a great pleasure to have a baby. I hope the rest of your process will be smooth and you will be able to go to Canada quickly with your family.

Congratulations to fast track and firestyle_jutsu for your MRs. Stay fit and enjoy.
