We belong to the same VO.

Whilst MVO is apparently the fastest amongst others, in all fairness to LVO there was quite significant catching up observed this 2012. In my opinion, it is a combination of three factors: which application came first, the bulk of applications received and which visa officer handles the case.

The VO is definitely a factor, however for me it does only matter if we compare our time lines with other VO's. We should only compare time lines of the same VO so as not to exhaust ourselves thinking.

Let us wait and hope for the best! Goodluck to all of us! ;D

Yeah...

That words to be remembered all the time...!!

Do compare time-lines with the same VO applicants... or else wandering soul's thoughts 'll also start wandering..!

But one thing..is that nothing is there in our hands..! :o

So accepting the fact only can give us the peace of mind... ;D ;D

Easy to tell but hard to accept...!

Have a good time ahead.

hello dear,
my application returned because when CIO started processing my IELTS was expired although it has reached CIO office before expiry.
Now i am going to appear IELTS again. some more queries please help:
1. I should submit the same application packet with fresh IELTS test result or forms have been revised since 25th Augsut, 2011.
2. Should i be submit a new bank statement or the same will serve the cause.
3. Police certificates are valid for how long?
Thanks

Dear bahadur4u

1) Effective 18th July New Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008) has become available.
Federal skilled worker applications received by the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) after November 14, 2011 must be prepared using the updated instruction guide and Document Checklist (IMM 5612) or they will be returned as incomplete.

Please fill the new forms (if you haven't already done it). Furthermore, please visit the following link:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp

2) IMO it is better to submit up-to-date bank statement.
3) From CIC's website regarding police certificates (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/intro.asp):

The certificate must have been issued no more than three months before you submit your application.

Best regards

As far as I know, these negatives are needed by the DMPs and they return them after using for the required purpose. As a rule, if your photos are not older than six months and you have got the negatives, you do not need new ones.

Dear Westpoint

Congratulations captain!! Best of luck for you.

Dear Admin team NKKD, RKC, BIG O, WESTPOINT, EXPLORER976

I am pretty sure all the members of this forum are very grateful to all of you. You are doing a wonderful job, all the time someone is there to update our case. Saying thank you or some good words is not enough compare to what you doing.

Needless to say that everyone is somehow benefitted from the forum in terms of information. Genuinely this forum is much better than many immigration lawyers not only for the immigration process but once people receive their PR. There is vast amount of information in here for absolutely free . Even in many occasions after spending a significant amount of money many applicant don’t get the right direction where if someone follow this forum I believe he or she doesn’t need any lawyer.

I have some advice if possible ,As we know Every VO work pattern is slightly different from each other even the process is the same. There is actually three or four main VO which is London, New Delhi, Manilla and others. After the first page of spread sheet if we can do the same as like all the Manilla applicant in one single page, another one for London, New Delhi and so on it is much easier for everyone to understand how their VO is actually working and to guess the processing time. I know it will be very hard job for the admin.

Again I express my gratitude for the admin team.

I am not going to do that! I will simply start reading from here onwards :)
Congratulations to all of my friends who have received a positive sign from CIO or VO.

NKKD, would it be too much to ask for one of your superb summaries in order for me to catch up with you guys?

Hello dear,
Although I am the least contributing admin on the planet, please allow me to point out that there are "filter arrows" on the first row of each column which you can use to single out every VO and compare timelines (works perfectly well on Ipad and Iphone too).
Try it, if you feel that we still need to proceed with your suggestion, than I will be more than happy to do that myself!
