Hi everyone,

I was wondering who else has had their Medical Request? I just received mine on the 6th Jan 2012 and am going on Friday to a designated doctor to have my med exam done, its rather expensive..but has to be done!

Can I ask as well please...once I have been issued my PR, how long am I allowed to actually move? Can I 'land' in the province I want to move to just to validate my visa and then go back to the UK to finish and tie up anything else I need to before properly moving to Canada?? What are the rules about this please?

And good luck for your Medicals. I received mine on 11-01-12 and i am going on Monday for medicals. And yes you can come back after landing formalities. But seniors say that its better to stay there until you grab your PR card which comes in 6-8 weeks. Good luck

COngratulations to all who recieved their MR, PER, and 2nd Aor.
Good to know that Ravi_07 is a young gun. Iam 24 dude. BTW wats ur NOC. Was not expecting some one less than 28 in this forum as so many are well experienced in their professsions.

been 2 months now still NO SIGN of MR. Recieved a verification call early morning at 9 am but it was from a recruitment company Shine.com. Ruined my sleep when i heard that Mr. Robin this is a verfication call from >................ .......... SHINE.COM.

Please people pray for me that I get through this.

hey guys..do we still need to include negatives on our medical?the DMP didnt asked me to include any negatives..they just asked me another new 4pcs passport size pictures..nationwide med agency has a photo studio outside their clinic..
they told me that the results of my med exam will be processed for about 2-3 weeks..I hope my med results will be okay since I live far away from manila..hotels are expensive..

anyways..do you have any idea when will the CEM verify again or do background checking on our application? -thanks- God bless

Hmmm. In fact I don't have enough time now to go for fresh photos. As i know only one professional photographer in my area and he is always busy and gives 2-3 days time for print out and I am afraid that if the photos are not of the specifications, i might have to go again. As now I have got appointment and hoping to go with same photos. Let's see what happens.

Photo negative is a must or not,,,,,,,,,,,,,im not hving that .pls advice .

No such thing is mentioned at all and neither the DMP's assistant has told me so. She only said me to bring 5 photographs and that's it,I told her that in the letter three photos are mentioned and she said but we require two more for our record. And also two copies of 1st four pages of each member (it is also not mentioned on the letter).

Have u taken new photo or the same one that u had attached with ur application
