i suppose this is the first working day after xmas holidays. so lets pray tht it has gone well for the CIC n VO officers so they r in a good mood n start handing us our PERs n MRs. pray!

Hey ovais...what about your AOR..??

are we all august applicants going to be blessed with MR directly or what..?/

Hello All

I have a question and will appreciate any answers / feedbacks. I was in Manila when I submitted my application for PR . I recieved my PER in Nov 8 and my AOR on Nov 28 from Manila VO. However, now I am not in Manila and I informed the Manila VO of my movement.

Q: Where will I recieve my MR forms and how long you think it might take. I see that two others from Manila VO in category 1122 recieved their MRs and I am getting a tiny bit anxious about the same. I also believe that the MR forms are sent by courier so am assuming that it will reach my permanent address on my application ( which is my India address ) , is that right ?

Please, if anybody has any idea / feedback / suggestions / advise on by when can I expect to see my forms, will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Rahul

I do not think IELTS scores have anything to do with faster processing... Maybe if you have submitted a complete application package.. Things will move faster.. So lesser verifications required.

I had already submitted my PCC with my initial application to CIO Sydney. So they haven't asked me to send it again. It is not separate .... Because in the letter we got, the box against PCC is not ticked.... They have only ticked medical forms and RPRF.

hi smgrge, your ielts score will surely influnce your application processing.
secondly your higher qualification will also effect your processing.

Hi Rahul,

You shall receive your MR forms on the mailing address you had provided (on permanent address only if it's same as mailing address) . Manila sends MR by post.
You shouldn't worry at least till the time when somebody else with the same AOR date from Manila has secured MR. Unlike processing at CIO , applications at VO are processed strictly by case to case. So it's quite possible applications with same AOR dates have different MR dates.

Hi sabu,

Other details added.

Thanks RKC for your prompt response. Generally, How much time one should expect between the AOR and MR . I know i might be sounding a bit anxious and thats cos I AM ::). ;).

I think the people who have got their MRs were the guys whose applications reached CIO the same day ( July 6 - 8 ) . Its just that I was a NER converted to PER Case and my PER was recieved on 8th Nov relative to theirs which was in Aug timeframe ( if my memory serves right )

They recieved their AORs in late Oct and the MR forms in Dec. So I am assuming the timeframe to be like 45 days between AOR and MR.

Would you know of any other cases to help me ease my anxiety :)

Alaindotcom, Jijitpie - I believe you guys also from Manila VO under 1122 right ? Any comments pls.

Thanks
Rahul

Thanks again, in advance for your response.

No no,It doesn't mean that your file is still in Sydney. These predictions or guesses are based on some limited data that we have here in our spread sheet. I hope your file is already with your CHC, London as its already One and a half month is gone after your PER. So relax.

Thank you, I wish every one would get MR/PPR very soon.

I am not expecting 2nd AOR. Its normal for LVO. The next communication wud b either MR or some clarification regarding ur application if the visa officer wants some clarification. I think the next couple of weeks wud give a good idea as to when we shud b expecting our MR. If u the c the spreadsheet a number of LVO are still waiting for it.

Yeah you're right in saying your timeline got bit delayed for NER-PER saga. From Manila the latest dated AOR (Nov 7) received MR on Dec 6, that's just 30 days. You see you cannot have a definite timeline regarding MR.

Check the spreadsheet ,use filter to view only Manila applications. If you don't get a response within average wait times for MR or when you see you are too lagging behind , you can send them a CSE requesting status.

jijitipie is a 3152.

Yes! This Canada immigration process can turn the coolest of heads into anxious butterflies. No idea what Buffalo applicants might get turned into, waiting eternally to have a decision on their files.
