below is the email i received from eCAS tracker

Latest update:

This means that either:

1. Your e-CAS just got activated for the first time, or
2. You just joined the e-CAS Tracker (welcome!), or
3. A new part of your application is showing up, e.g. the PR application
as opposed to the sponsorship part, or
4. Occasionally this could mean your mailing address has been added or
removed from e-CAS.

if cap is related to cashment of the fee then 18 August applicant must be in cap of 22 october not in 10th november because his fee was cashed on 22 october , why are you misguiding new applicants who are about to apply.

possible.so the 10th november cap will have applications reached around 25th August. right

on the 3rd of nov. 2011 i sent status inquiry with all my info. i am expecting response by the end of this month (as they take 20 working days).

i am wondering if i need to send another e-mail to CIO , mentioning what happened over the phone regarding my e-mail mistake? what do u think ?

finally what is Caips, and what do u mean by ordering them ? would u be so kind to explain ?

Caips is the system that cio uses to update and track our files progress. They have implemented a new system called gcms but fortunately they third party providers of caips have access to bith systems.

http://www.caips.ca/ is one of the sites that can provide you with caips but there are others, prices vary from 25 usd to 125 and the choice is yours. The only problem is that it needs few weeks to reach you and sometimes you need help to understand the report (you have us for that ).

Usually, one would need caips files when his application has been still for some time but in your case I think it will help! Did you receive a reply from the other email ID?

Received the following reply in e-mail:

Although this NOC code corresponds to the occupations specified in the Instructions identified by the Minister, you have not provided sufficient evidence that you performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC, including all of the essential duties.

Any body please explain why the duties are not matching?

Simply because you did mot mention most of the duties performed by 631 such as inventory management, menu pricing, attending customer complaints.... You focused too much on the internet side and forgot thee cafe part!

if not maybe they say never receive bec its returned back? last yr mine was returned and they akso say neevr receive any packege in my enqury bec once they return the package they will not have any record of it as per letter i receive together with my package... mine was returned bec i submitted the academic ielts result.

My Noc's are 1122/0631.

This application was received on 04-08-11. However,if actually it was returned,they ought to have confirmed the said status and the reason behind its return.

Have read in this forum of Occupation returned cos of Cap, document returned cos of non-inclusion of rejection letter.

But do you know that while your document was returned last year cos of Academic IELTS,my friend was issued an AOR with a 90 days moritorim to send GENERAL ielts SAME LAST YEAR.

STILL KEEPING FAITH IN DOUBT.

Perhaps he didn't provide strong enough proof for the covering letter, for example some of the colleagues signed the letter rather than hr related person. Lately, CIO has become quite picky about this.

It was signed by the proprietor - the single owner of the firm and not by any of my colleagues.

The above is nowhere near 0631. NOC 0631 is all about Restaurant and Food Service Management.
