None that are reported. I wonder when should I check my DD encashment if I applied on Sep.15? Any suggestions friends??

you can check with bank after 75-80 days of your application filing date.

Thanks

hey guys..

yesterday i got below reply from cic against my email for case status:

Dear Sir/Madam:

Please be advised that we currently have no record of your submission. However, it could be in the queue for initial processing. If you wish to submit a status enquiry in 3-4 weeks, a further search can be done.

Thank you for your interest in Canada.

Just an observation, the time gap (no. of days ) between fee charging & receiving PER has reduced considerably. This indicates reduced number of applications in August as compared to July ( owing to heavy traffic of 1122 & 3152)

As per our spreadsheet applications after 11 Aug are still awaiting fee encashment . Fee charged implies package opened & completeness check cleared. You will have to wait few more weeks to hear something. Good Luck.

Hey now, keep tab of our tracker to know your prospective fee encashment date. You should check it when CIO proceeds to cashing 2nd week September applicants. Good Luck.

I second that! They rely on this fact to reduce new application loads kn VOs so that they have enough time to start working on older application that they refer to as backlog.

I think that next year Cap will remain at 500 until they minimise the number of old applications, then they might put another cap of 2000 per elligible NOC. The real question is will they keep the 1122 or not?

westpoint could you please add me in spreadsheet.

hello westpoint,

Could you please add me in spreadsheet?

My application was received on 11th August 2011 under NOC 1122.

The last 38 occupations list (MI1) held good for 2 & 1/2 years which resulted in 450,000 applications . It remains to be seen if the current 29 occupation list holds good for the coming third year as well . Evidently, their main concern is clearing backlog (MI2 at 1000 & MI3 at 500). So I'm surely expecting a change in the points system & even further reduced cap limits.
