Welcome. :)

You are now on spreadsheet. Please provide other missing details.

Big O , I just noticed we both have completed 4 months of our PR journey today. Hopefully we reach finish line & have our visas in another 4.

Fingers Xed. :)

The last 38 occupations list (MI1) held good for 2 & 1/2 years which resulted in 450,000 applications . It remains to be seen if the current 29 occupation list holds good for the coming third year as well . Evidently, their main concern is clearing backlog (MI2 at 1000 & MI3 at 500). So I'm surely expecting a change in the points system & even further reduced cap limits.
This is what I know with regards to next year:
1) Age points will change / highest points will be given to those who are between 30 & 35.
2) More points for language skills and a minimum required score for certain occupations (even if you have enough points, you will still need good score on ielts to qualify)
3) less points for work experience
4) less educational requirements for some occupations such as crane operators....

I am not sure if 631 and 1122 will remain on the list but I hope so. Note that around 8000 restaurants closed down in Montreal this year (due to new regulations, not recession) so that puts 631 in the danger zone.

Yep, 4 more months :).
Waiting is fun on this thread, just remember to keep your focus on the important stuff while waiting :)

Can add one more point to that list.
5) no points for spouse education credentials under Adaptability.. [had read in some other summary report of past consultation]
