Hi Steelz,

Did you receive any good news (PER) from the CIO today. I am still waiting for that. Our files were received on same date (22nd July). they are not informing anything. How to contact CIO to inquire about our file. I just have an information that my file was received by DAUG on 22nd July from DHL the currier company.

I had submitted the BD so I dont knoe they encash the fees or not??
Please suggest me how to contact them?
Is there any budy who is waiting like me?

Hello Manush,
You and Steelz have nothing to worry about, you will receive news from CIO soon. I don't usually agree with the term "no news is good news" but this time I think it is true.

CIO operations are not exact science, just look at the track sheet and you will notice that some of us got their PER in as little as 64 days while the others took more than 90. It is not a bad sign not to hear from them!

You can send them an email to enquire about your case, mention your details (name, DOB, Passport number and noc) and ask them for a status update. their email is FSW-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca

Finally my credit card was charged today morning, My application was received on 11th of august... Does it mean I will get AOR ?

It is in a way an AOR (Acknowledgment Of Receipt) but that is not the AOR we refer to. Next, you will get a PER .

Manush, i am still waitting like you , i didn't recieve response yet, i don't think we may get it this week, maybe next week maximum, i inquired about my file 3 days ago they told me call back after 2 weeks, as Big O said, it could be a good sign that they are late, i think if we were going to get NER , they would have gave it to us fast.

you can call ministry of trade 6139444000 then press 1 then 2 then 1 then 2 , go by answer machine instructions , and when they ask you for client ID , skip it and don't enter anything , they will ask you again , skip it , then they will divert you to an agent.

I just had a word with call center agent, they sent my file back because of IELTS score card. I sent my IELTS score card xerox copy because I did apply for the same last year and they rejected my file because of employer referance letters. I did not get back my original IELTS score card. so I put one application with all this details on top of the notrised xerox copy. now they are saying that just because of the lack of original IELTS score card they sent back my file. Please help me in this case how to correct this.

i can't believe it, they say in the checklist to send a copy if original sent with previous application like your case?

Dearie,

THIS is indeed a flaw from the CIO.
It is clearly spelt out in their Checklist that if the applicants Original IELTS result is in their possession,the applicant should attach a copy with a written explanation.

Did you inform them about that in writing? What is your NOC code?
