Looks like 3152 rumors come true. My application is being returned also.

sad news Brebu. Did they mention in their mail the reason why they returned your app? They received my app Last Aug. 4 under the same NOC. I am a little bit worried here for my app.

GOOD NEWS FOR ALL!!! Its is really based on VO quota guys! Some guys got their app returned at the 8th of july because the quota for they VO had been reached, and some others that had their app filed in 8th of july onward, like me from Brazil, didnt fill up the quota of the respective VO. So thats why we havent been contacted yet....how do I know it?? because I have just received an answer from CIO about the inquiry of my app:

Good Afternoon.

Your submission is with our office and is awaiting initial processing. You will be contacted in due course.

So, if it is awaiting initial processing, it means it is in the quota. Im so HAPPY guys!!!! Good luck for everyone that hasnt received a answer yet! You probably are in the quota as well!

That's what is bothering me. I just recently received an email coming from CIC. Just today to be exact and they told me that my papers are in their office waiting for evaluation and that I will be contacted in due course. My application was received on the 8th of August. NOC 3152. So if that were true, then would they tell me that on the email?

Honestly, I am confused as well. Did she/he actually received an email that tell her that? :'(

Here I was confused awhile ago..I also received the same email like you did a few minutes ago and then I read that they are returning the applications on NOC 3152..so I was like WHAT?!!! But then you gave a good explanation. I am from VO Manila and the papers that were returned was from VO Buffalo.

Is that a valid explanation though?

That is the average till june 2010, so two years ago (cio years, not calendar years),and Manilla VO figures are not far from 20 months as I remember.

Someone who applied last year can answer my question!

sorry, I forgot to mention. It's due to CAP reached. They said they returned my package October 13, am currently waiting for it.

I believe I received my PER/AOR? I had an email from CIO Sydney, saying that My app will be forwarded to a visa office for further processing and that my application has received a positive final determination of eligibility for processing. I received this on the 19th October. It also acknowledge receipt of payment. What happens after this please??

Ya thats true . To know approximate time its best if we get someone from last year. However CIC update this data 26th of July this year.
