What it could be??
Let's help each other out. Let's capitalize on our own individual networks and build a bigger network out of them. To those who have no real network to begin with, this forum is our start.cmqa80 said:Hi Alain,
Yeah.. its great that the 1122 folks, and fsw applicants in general are like one big family.. thanks to all of you guys..
I share your view that we might be on a difficult road ahead once in canada.. ive red several articles that paint a bleak outlook for canadian immigrants..but hey, whats life without a challenge .. personally, im feeling a mix of slight worry and more than a fair bit of excitement.. i dont know anyone there, dont have any network.. so i expect it to be really difficult.. the irony is, i see it more like as (you may say naively) going through an adventure with only your wit and faith in Gods providence.. ;D
Yes, lets all keep in touch and mind each other's back.. we need every help we can get
And as a note, this thread is red hot! .. checked it last night, and my post was already down several pages..haha
Hi Westpoint,
Thank you for your good message on the PPR.. I do hope that we get soon and that everyone here eventually gets it..
I sincerely hope that we may share someday the same good story and experience like you relatives have had.. Their story just proves that even though it is difficult, it is not impossible..
Hi Lucky mystery,
Nice to meet you and thanks for the warm welcome.. I will do try to be as active as i can.. ..
Cheers to all!

WOW! RKC is back. Does this mean things get done faster if I pray to Santa ?RKC said:Congratulations to everyone who received positive updates on their applications
There's no new update from my side..waiting for MR...very slim chance of receiving it this year with Christmas round the corner...hoping VO officers comeback rejuvenated & pick up pace next year.
@ alain...have your medical reports reached CEM? hope your PPR comes quickly and by email ....sparing you any postal delays
@ westpoint .....It's time...waiting to hear about your PER. Good Luck buddy.
@ NKKD...you are doing a great job...keep up the good work.
@ YH....has taken off for a vacation...looks like.
@ Big O...please come back..we miss you.
@ SmGrGe....I'm surprised you haven't received your MR yet...it should be in transit...can't they send it by email.
Faith makes all things possible,
Hope makes all things work,
Love makes all things beautiful,
May you have all the three for this Christmas.
MERRY CHRISTMAS! TO ONE & ALL

Done already. How's your RPRF?alaindotcom said:Sometimes I mistake you for westpoint. You done with medicals yet?
I sent the manager's check yesterday. I delayed it for a bit because I was not sure if I had to fill out an RPRF form (of some kind) and attach it to the check. I got good advice from Zelda. I just printed my name, application number, UCI number, and other details on a clean sheet, and then attached the check and a copy of the MR-RPRF cover letter, and sent the thing away. I am in a province outside of Manila for the holidays so I had to send the check via courier to the embassy.67points said:Done already. How's your RPRF?
Yeah. I was beginning to get worried about the two of you. Don't worry RKC, isn't it that NDVO sends out the MR and PPR all at one time? You'll be in Canada even before I can learn to spell S-A-S-K-A-T-C-H-E-W-A-N.RKC said:Dear alain...Santa heard what you just said...hehehe....YH should soon make an appearance too...looks like she's still reeling under the fact that she could beat the cap...her PER party will continue into new years.

I think the details you provided are more than enough, the cover letter did not mention form to be filled-up. Call the bank manager after 1 week and ask if the check is already negotiated. Alright I'll do that. Thanks for the advice. Maligayang pasko.67points said:I think the details you provided are more than enough, the cover letter did not mention form to be filled-up. Call the bank manager after 1 week and ask if the check is already negotiated. Manila VO is fast in cashing MCs
