Typically, they wouldn't be asking for GSIS contribution records. So, I wonder why they are asking for those now. I am sure those who have obtained their MRs as of today did not include GSIS or SSS records in their original application pack. How young are you? Have you had only one employer so far?

Anyway, it's good that you have your records all intact. It's just a bummer that processing will be delayed. On the other hand, it's good that you know those are the only issues identified, and that they are all surmountable.

Hi Boozer24,

I just wanted to find out if he has extensive work experience in his qualifying NOC. I think the Manila VO does extra verification checks for new nursing graduates because there is currently an oversupply of more than 200,000 nurses in the Philippines. That means it will be hard for newly grads to gain paid full-time work experience in their field. And that may be the reason why the Manila VO has started asking for records of social security contributions, etc.

Butetebetlog will easily clear the extra verification checks. He has more than a year of experience as evidenced by his employment and GSIS records.

hello there.. Im single.. so Its just me who'll go there.. thanks for the advice.. you have a point.. The immigration officer might ask us any documents (including bank account) upon landing in Canada..

they will not ask for bank acct (here in PI), they will randomly inquire how much money u are bringing along with u. u can either present it in cash or bank draft/managers check. this is based on actual PJ26 immigrants' immigration experience.
