It makes sence i guess if the processing time is too long in BVO! If you can use manilla vo it will be great.
Do mention the trip this time, they will not hold it against you but they will find out during the background and security checks especially that the trip is to the states. Everybody makes a mistake here and there in their application and yours is not a major one; it would have been if the trip was to one of the countries that are known for their support of extremest.
Best of luck dear,
I happened to skip this trip in my personal history as I made this trip while studying in Canada. So the period was covered under the 'activity' of studying. I believe it will not be a major issue.

finally am on page 490 ;D if it were me, i'd include the 17 day trip to USA...as well as a copy of that travel stamps in your passport showing each travel you made...
I included the 17day trip in my supplementary travel information form but not the travel stamps. I think it should be OK

Hey NKKD, Check the following taken from Guide-FSW , Step 2 Complete the Application
List all trips you have taken outside your country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since your 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, business, training, etc.
I think you should include the trip in your new application with an explanation letter.
I did not include an explanation letter but I included the trip. I wish CIC gives a better explanation in Schedule A (former Schedule 1) form, personal history section as to the minimum length of trips taken to be included. For someone who travels on short trips a lot, it is sort of difficult to mention all of them. I guess the purpose of introducing the supplementary travel info form is to obtain this information.
Thank you all for the replies. I finally sent my second application 2121 yesterday (26th October) with New Delhi as visa office. Now I have two applications to worry for. dunno if it is good or bad. As usual, I hope for the quickest.
