Guys I have just received my NER .

Guss what is the reason of refusal?

cos I did not send the letter of employment for my brother who is in canada.

I send his , I birth date certificates
his permanent residence card copy

but they need a proof that he is currently live there.

Sorry to get NER and the strange in the matter .Are the Relatives must be employed in canada or just proof for living there.
And are u send lease aggrement and electric bill and bank statement for ur brother.

Friday is indeed a day of PERs. So, the assumption that PERs are obtained most likely on a Thrusday and friday is true. Anymore PERs or are we closing for the week?

I am really sorry for you. I hope you will make it next time. You should try once again with all the required documents. Looks like CIC is looking for every reason to cut down on their application intake.

Hello to everyone.

As you already know, we have received NER on September 27th, because immigration agent wasn't satisfied that we are NOC 1122. After that we decided to complain and we sent them a fax and e-mail with explanation about submitted work experience documents and correlation with job duties from NOC 1122 site and from my reference letter, asking them to reconsider our application once more.

This is their response:

It's over. We have to think about other options. Obviously it's a problem with my work experience because I work in the bank and the bank is financial institution and finance occupations are removed from in demand NOC list, so regardless of my real job duties, do they think that a person from the bank can't do NOC 1122 duties? At least it looks like this, right?

Is there someone who works in the bank under NOC 1122 and who have received PER?

Sorry about your denial. But to me this denial is ridiculous at best. They go to say that banking is neither professional, nor related to business and doesn't need any management ! Wow! I am a chef by occupation and work at a hotel. So I would think I am ok. What if, I worked as a chef for a little charity feeding the poor. They would not be satisfied with my expertise.

Something are mysterious at best!

I don't know. I'm just concluding based on my own experience. Maybe someone will tell me different story. I hope, because if not, than it's no use to apply next year. Nobody can do a make up of my job duties and say that's it, and beside that, my supervisor will never sign any ref. letter. I have only friends and colleagues for signing my references.

you are already on the list dear (row 114); what do you want me to update?
Have you send them an email yet? if not please do! they need to know your details (Name, DOB, Passport number and NOC) and the subject should be "Status update" or something like that. simply ask them to update and tell them that it has been more than 6 weeks since they received your application.
