Anyways, I got my PER on 14th Sep'11 and showing the status as:

We received your application for permanent residence on July 5, 2011.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on September 14, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Please check you INBOX and or Junk mail.... It might happen that the mail has gone to your junk mail folder....

i went there recently, and dear people, be ready to spend 100 CAD daily for a family of 3 for some very basic things and modest life

where did your email go? it has to be there... they send all ERs by email if you have given it on your application... did you double check your application copy...? for correct email id? because it surely sounds like they already sent it....

i checked it ..nothing from CIC since 8 Sept .. i have the copy of my application ..the email id provided is correct..Anyway i'll mail them to send it again ..

I agree with farrukh and you too... Each place in the world is made by God.. every place has a + and -. Aspiring and following your dreams is great! God gave you a life.. and you try and make wise choices with the wisdom He gives you and under His guidance... You can make plans! Sure!!

But God may have another plan.. which will always be for each ones best! If any of us dont make it.. rest assured - it wasnt in Gods plan for us... many other opportunities exist...in your home country, maybe arranged employment offer to Canada , something somewhere... like you said, no harm trying... but if you dont make it... NOT AT ALL the end of the world!

Maybe going to Canada will be the turning pointing in our lives...

also not able to make it may also be the turning point in our life... we will not realize it now... later down the road we surely will!

Its advisable to check again with CIC....

If possible do call them....as you have Application number....

i checked it ..nothing from CIC since 8 Sept .. i have the copy of my application ..the email id provided is correct..Anyway i'll mail them to send it again ..

For NER (though I didnt rec it) i think they mentioned about the "document along with all attachments" and not about the letter. Letter is only for PER i suppose.....

Seniors pls comment..... As per me Mr. Mark you have made the cap and rec PER.

Now.... I dont know Im looking for a job offer i dont wanna wait for next year cause it would be worst and maybe the cap will reach in one day! If the Noc 1122 would still be a deseable ocupation...

AVSNEH - Does ur eCAS shows mailing address? Until last friday, my eCAS was showing mailing address when status was "Application Received". It disappeared today..

They communicate both PER/NER by email which is same as letter on ecas.
