I did not realize that there is a competition! I joined this forum and only this thread because I felt that the people here are very helpful and the updates are beneficial to everyone.

I say Let everyone follow whatever thread they like, it is not a mistake or a sin to post on other threads as long as people feel comfortable in doing so. We should be tempting people to join us by the amount of information and assistance we offer.

Hi Big O,

When I said 'competition', it was just a figure of speech. Yes, everyone is free to post wherever they can and it is not a sin or mistake. The only idea is to have all stuff at one place. I am not against goodman or for westpoint. It would eliminate members having to check both the threads, posting queries on both threads, or make follow ups on both threads. Not many of us have a lot of time to spend on this forum and that way we can save some time too by having all information under one roof (this thread). Did you check the june 2010 MI2 thread. I like it because they are all under one roof and its like a family.....a family of 400 plus.

hello all, i applied for NOC 3152 on july 4, 2011. received on july 5,2011 by Mike. Bank draft got cashed on Aug 10,2011. I haven't had any response after that. Is anyone in the same situation? Has anyone received PER letter being in the same time frame and possibly same NOC as mine. . Please advise, I m getting nervous here.

@ remarkable, why don't you try sending an email to cic? yours is more than 6weeks and you will surely get a response from them.At least they've taken the fee, that's a little positive sign.

Check this. As of now, PERs are being sent to applicants who got their CC/BD charged late July. Since yours got charged on Aug 10th, it could be a week or two from now on to receive your PER. No reason to be nervous yet. Good luck with your application

have you sent an enquiry to CIO?
I sent on 5th sept. but have not any response so far. its two week now but no reply.
Most of members got reply from 10-13 days. Now i expect a reply on Monday, on 15th day lets hope that it may be a good one.

I just called the office. The agent first asked me my family name and date of birth. He put me on hold and then afte 5 min. Told me that he found my particulars abd my application is under review. I asked what does that mean ? Is my application accpeted or rejected. He again put me on hold for 5 mins and then asked me about my proffession , no. Of dependents in application and my email address.
Then he informed me that they have sent me a letter by regular mail on 15th sept. But he doesnt know whats written in the letter.
I am confused. Can someone explain me what it can be ?

I hope it is postive news on your way.
Not quite sure why they said it is being reviewed when in reality, a letter was issued. I hope it is was an oversight and not a standard response that they give to avoid more questions.

In btw, did you provide an email address in the application? From the timeline, your application reaced CIC on 8th July but the payment was not taken - Is that right? Did you also try to send an email for a status update to see if the information conveyed on email & phone are the same? Maybe its a good try.
