Hello BD immigrants,

Your status is In process only. I use pink for those applicants who receive an extra line -We started processing on ------date.
I have observed that London, Warsaw and singapore VO use this extra line when they start processing your file. You should get an MR very soon. When a VO does not show on ecas that process has begun, Orange (AOR) changes directly to Brown (Medical) without a pink. Hope I am clear. Good luck with the rest of your process.

This is not the case at VO Bucharest.
My status is "In process" after being "Received by VO" but inside there is no additional line.
I am still waiting my medical forms.

The ECAS website mentions my PR status as "In Process". We have received your application for Permanent Residency on July 19, 2011.

Does it means that the Buffalo VO office has receieved my application on 19th Jul, 2011 or is it by CIO, Nova Scotia. I had receieved the PR Application Number on Oct 19, 2011.

Yest. I received below communication from Buffalo VO. As they have not specified the completion date of processing my application, is it thing to be worried. My NOC is 0213.

Hello Viraj,

Nothing unusual with your status or application or reply. Buffalo is the slowest visa office known so far. You may expect some movement by the end of this year. Patience pays. Meanwhile, check our spreadsheet to see the time lines for buffalo applicants.

Finally we got the ice melting in Bucharest VO and I am so happy to get MR after 6 waiting months.
I'm also happy to see LVO is taking care of my buddies and returning good news for most of them!

Hello everybody,

This is for a friend of mine. He is in USA right now and cannot make in to India. Can he apply for an India PCC, while he is in USA right now?

Please do pour in your experts advice, as he is stuck with this in the very last phase of his application process.

He has to obtain PCC from consulate general of India in USA. There are several centers like New york, Houston etc. Processing takes about a week to 10 days.

Next week is about to change that... To be more exactly, Tuesday morning around 9:30 AM.. 8) 8) 8)

U are gonna see a second line with " We started processing your appl" and in a couples of hours
MR are on their way !!! 8) 8)

By the grace of Almighty we have received our passports back with Visa today!

Our relief knows no bounds. It was a loooong wait for us...but now everything feels worth it.

Yesterday I sent documents for adding my baby.Probably SVO will get it by 17th May.
SVO will sent me the acknowledgment or not,senior please reply.

Sorry, I do not know the answer to your question. But, you can try and send them a CSE after two weeks to ask if they have received the documents.

Request the seniors to provide clarity on the following questions:


1.Can passport be used as the National Identity Document?
NO
2.In the schedule 3 form where the assets and liabilities need to be declared, can that also included fixed deposits in the wife's name although the husband is the primary applicant?
YES
3. If my passport and PAN card have my maiden name and marriage certificate has my husband's sir name added to my name is that a problem?
NOT SURE
4.If we are not being able to obtain the work certificate in the format given for the current job, but have other documents to prove our experience and kind of role such as Appointment letter, promotion letter, award certificate, pay slips , will that be enough?
YES- remember full time job status, job title, job duties -very imp, pay slips should be latest to show that you are still working and salary details.

Got MR on 15 may.2012 ,in the same day ecas was updated with the second line!
By the way, I received MR via e-mail with scanned, color photo copies of medical forms..
