Just recieved a reply from cic after 11 days.

"Please be advised that your application was returned with all attachments on 30 August 2011 as the cap of NOC 1122 has been reached."

Guess everyone after the 8th should have no hope of their cc / bd being encashed. Process seems to be the same as last year.

Oh my god, how is that possible. How did Jason got charged for fees if his app. was received on July 13th? I really don't get it. How can it be that CIC needed more than a month and a half to claim 500 CAP reached for NOC 1122 if they received those 500 apps. in the first week?

I'm shocked! I feel sorry for everyone who put their effort to do everything right and applied as soon as they could.

I can remember, CIC did not updated their website on "completed application" received for more than 10 days from First of july.
The cap reached message was seen on 22nd Aug. Before that it was updated on Aug 10, and the number of completed application on that date for NOC 1122 was 419.

So, in my view 8th July date is not possible. Aug 8, might be possible. don't worry guys, many of you will make it.

i dont get the logic here .... how come the cutoff date be 8th July and CIC updates their website on 22nd August as cap reached for 1122. are they fooling others...if they received 500 apps in 1st week of july then why wait till 22nd Aug.... and now just sending back apps.

i hope this is not true... have waited long enough to apply.. please everybody whos apps reached in second week of july ask CIC about ur apps and let us know...

Well, maybe CIC made a mistake with priyavig application. Maybe they overlooked his application reception date. I wouldn't be surprised after I heard that they didn't saw original IELTS in one applicant's envelope and returned the whole package to him.

priyavig, call CIC now and ask for someone to clarify on this!

Same like last year, it's all over now. So the cut off was 8th of July and they kept on receiving the applications for 45 days.. This is terrible...

they were obviously not expecting thousands of application for 1122. for example if they got 50-100 appl in one day.. that doesnt mean they will be able to check all of them on the same day.

True, but then the website update of the CAP should have been done on a daily basis...

right if they received 50-100 apps in a day then by 10th July they must have received 500-1000 apps .... then atleast they shuld have updated the site at that time. it is obvious they could easily have 500 complete apps from those 1000's... why give hope to others to apply and then send their apps back ...

we should know that they might not be having much of man power and theres not just one noc. they must be checking few applications in a day. or untill 15th july they were only able to get 52 application after scanning many many incomplete applications.

The sick thing this year is that the CAP was reached almost 10 days before the first update appeared on that misleading website...
